I have this on my desktop at home and its small. I use the two USB ports to charge the cell phone and tablet so I don't need the transformer thus allowing more outlets to be used. 
I also like the warranty after registering any of the products against possible electrical damage when used correctly.

This power strip is rock solid. I love the length. I wanted these because I wanted to set up a home office with 2 monitors, a laptop, etc. It has 2 USB ports as well. it still has plenty of available outlet slots for chargers, etc.
Also, a Simple wall mount keeps it just where I need it on the back wall behind my desk.
It is a top-quality surge Protector. Highly recommended!

Best Quality, Great for Office use

I was looking specifically for a surge protector with USB power. After reading poor reviews of other products, I found this one which received good reviews. I needed USB power for my two Zoom Q2n-4k cameras. I used both USB ports to provide power to the two cameras for a 3 hour event and the surge protector did fine. It was not hot and had no issues. I am quite happy with the product so far.

Picked this up on Amazon. Why Tripp Lite? My ex and best friend is an IT professional and these are the only surge protectors he buys. This is a great power outlet that is perfect for home use and the office. Ive connected an air filter to this device and it runs smoothly. The added USB ports are a great bonus, allowing you charge your phone, or what ever you might need. This is a great product at a amazing value, saving you money on over priced units that offer less quality outlets.

A powerful multi outlet protector at a coast saving price

I bought this item for my daughter given she needs not only power plugs but USB plugs too. I have been told that the USB plugs are convenient and that she likes the slim design better than the other brands that are twice as wide. As for protection, I honestly don't know much about Joules and if this is a "catch all" for "brown outs".

This is a awesome surge protector. I run the testing department for Silent-Aire USA. We test all sorts of transformers ,devices ranging from 4-20mA sensors to10VDC analog actuators and more. We have testing carts set up with PLC's and 24VAC transformers(120-24VAC) plugged into these surge protectors. One of my guys was testing a control panel with 120VAC coming from the surge protector. He had his phone and a GoPro camera charging via USB port form the surge protector. There was a short in the panel (120VAC and Neutral swapped) that tripped the surge protector. Everything plugged into the Surge protector was protected and no damage, but It did burn out the surge protector. TRIPP-LITE replaced the surge protector with no issues, easy as 1,2,3.

I bought this item because I have other Tripp Lite products that seem to be as old as I am and still running strong protecting my equipment. I've never had one fail yet. To back up their quality, they even provide insurance.
