Peace of mind and affordable products go well together. After recent power outages I realized the cheap surge prevention device I was using would not have enough joules to actually protect my expensive electronics.

An excellent surge protector - plenty of plug-ins - love the sliding plug-in covers - the power cord is long enough to reach 99% of outlets - the actual protection is excellent, and the price was just right. I have only two nits to pick: 1) the plug end of the power cord is oriented at an angle which makes plugging it into the wall awkward in some installations, and 2) the body of the unit is a bit wider than I would prefer, making it difficult to fit my wire management system. Idea: include small lugs with holes on the bottom edge so the unit can be secured with either screws or zip ties. Overall, I'd buy this again and recommend highly.

This has been a terrific surge protector for my desk area. It can handle a lot of cords -- and the spacing between the receptacles allows for big plugs. I love the green light indicator for a quick visual. While I've [thankfully] never had a claim, Tripp Lite's registration process was quite professional and gives me confidence that they'll back their products.

Regular outlets would be better if a little more widely spaced and/or could rotate to accommodate the somewhat wider USB power blocks side-by-side. Otherwise, works well, solidly built, easily walk mounted, and protects my land line phone and answering machine.

have this for my home theater system and love the extra room on one side for the transformers makes everything feel cosy. the extra protection for my TV and related items is a must have.

I've been really happy with how well this surge protector accommodates wall warts . Horizontal ones or vertical ones, it lets them fit and doesn't cover up adjacent plugs. That would seem logical, but how many don't do it? Recommended.

I have one of these at my home office desk, for my computer, printer, and additional monitor. My wife has the same. I have one at each end of the couch for the kids and their phones and computers. I have one on the living room tv, vcr/DVD player, cable box, sound bar, Xbox, play station, and wii. I also have one for the tv in my bed room and on each side of the bed. I use mine for phone , CPAP and machine. I have another for the sleep number bed with adjustable base.

I believe that this surge protector will keep my DVR, TV and receiver protected from power surges, unlike the much less qualified surge protector that recently allowed those items to be ruined by a close lightning strike that spiked our power lines.

This product works as advertised! I use it to protect sensitive equipment from surges and spikes at the remote gate operators at a rural airport. We used to go through several control boards a year, and this was an easy and cost effective way to mitigate the problem, and the units hold up well in a less-than-perfect environment. It also has plenty of space for control transformer and equipment service plugs. I'd recommend for use anywhere.

I've had the Tripp-Lite TLP808TEL-2160 joule for sometime time. I have my computer & telephone connected to it. Also my 55" Visio TV. They are extremely good surge protectors. We get a lot of electrical storms in Florida & my Tripp-Lite's do the job to prevent electrical out'ages.I highly recommend these products.

We use this unit to supply all power to electronic items for our computer. When we leave for extended times, we shut down all equipment and then switch this strip off providing an added layer of protection from power fluctuations and spikes from storms.

The right angle plug saves space and less chance of pulling out. There is plenty of room for standard plugs and transformer/charger type plugs. After 6 months it is still doing it's job with no problems. Great product!
