I needed a new surge protector and I liked that this one has 8 plugs plus 4 USB ports. I just wish I had seen that the USB ports are only for charging devices and not for plugging things like my printer in. But I still use it and it works fine and charges fast. I also am very happy with the reply I received explaining what I missed.

My previous surge protector was from a very well-known company, but it stopped working, it is possible that he died a hero, saving my equipment. I chose another manufacturer because that company did not respond to my message at all; I wrote to them three times. Now I trust Tripp Lite because I saw this equipment in the industrial. The surge protector itself is compact and has enough USB inputs and sockets for connection. I was specifically looking for a surge protector without control via Google or Alexa, because for me it's more reliable. The previous filter could not be controlled if it was not connected to WiFi; the sockets were activated only via Wi-Fi. I am pleased with the Tripp lite surge protector and am confident that it is reliable and will protect my devices.

Very convenient for the side of the sofa where I have a lamp, landline telephone, echo dot, Kindle and cell phone. There's plenty of room for other things, if necessary. The big plus is with spring coming and thunderstorms season beginning, I don't have to worry about these items if we get power surges.

I only use Tripp-Lite electrical strips as I like their designs (surge protection wise). My issue with this model is the use of none standard mounting holes and not providing a template. to mount it with. None of the screws I have here would work with their mounting holes. I ended up using an older Tripp-Lite strip and using the new one where the old one was being used.

I'm using it to power all the electronic equipment that I received to work from home. Keeps all the cords basically in one area.

I always buy Tripp Lite power strips for my electronic devices. This purchase was for my daughter who is leaving for college in the fall and I wanted to make sure she had a solid and safe source for her devices

The 4 USB connections are what is appreciated along with the multiple outlets. It seems everything these days is USB charged.

Our Library purchased 2 of the 8 outlet surge protectors. I found the inclusion of USB ports EXTERMELY beneficial to our students who have many devices and frequently forget their chargers. With more devices in use by college students, I found the outlet configuration very cool for student use and aesthetically pleasing in black so much so I mounted them on two tables with Velcro ( for ADA compliance) They are a big hit with the students who no longer have to crawl under tables for our floor embedded electrical ports like Honey Badgers lol. I will be ordering at least 4 more with next year's budget because the price is just right ! I am very happy with them and look forward to buying more.
