Review Summary
The TeachLogic AirLink Transmitter/Titan-Neo Delay System Package consists of the ALS-960 and a Two PA-815 Titan-neo Companion Delay Speaker package. The ALS-960 AirLink Stand Alone 96-Channel Transmitter from TeachLogic operates on the 640 to 664 MHz band and has 96 available channels to select from. It can be incorporated with the diversified receiver for transmission of a composite program for an extended distance in excess of 500.0' (152.4m) with clarity and reliability.
The PA-800 is a portable PA system with wireless capabilities for a multitude of applications. Use the Titan Neo in the auditorium, cafeteria, playground, multi-purpose room, farmer's market or at graduation-you name it. It is also a great tool for cheerleaders at the game or athletes and coaches at sports practice. It is complete with a battery/AC powered 50-watt amplifier and a control panel with a Lo-z mic input and auxiliary input. You can add one or two auto scan wireless microphone receivers, CD player and the unique AirLink wireless transmitter that transmits the composite program signal from the main system to as many wireless powered Titan companion systems as needed. TeachLogic's new Titan Neo lowers the weight of this popular ac/dc powered sound system by almost 30%. The use of Nickel Metal Hydride batteries not only reduces weight significantly, but also increases the run time of the system (while on battery) to typically 6-7 hours. A 4 stage LED indicator now shows remaining battery leve l.
The new low frequency speaker utilizes a neodymium magnet structure which significantly reduces the total weight of the system. In total, the conversion to NiMH batteries and a neodymium magnet structure lowers the overall weight of the Titan Neo system to a mere 21 lbs. The new Titan Neo also features a voice priority circuit that "ducks" the CD or line level input 20 dB when one of the Titan's microphones is activated. A perforated steel grille has been added for further protection to the components. The Teach Logic DR-800 features 96 selectable UHF channels (640-664 mHz) auto-san receiver, diversity antenna, LCD readout on/off/volume control and RF & AF indicators. Install a Teach Logic DD-750 time delay module to synchronize your distant Titan or AirLink sound output with the main stage sound system. Adjust to perfection, incremental delays up to 500 ms. Makes the back row think they're sitting front stage. The SS-750 is a heavy-duty stand for setting up the Titan on the go. Folds for compact storage and telescopes between 37" and 61" H. The TeachLogic's CC-750 Carrying Bag for Titan Neo System holds a TeachLogic PA-700 speaker. This case has an opening for a handle and has side storage pocket for transmitters and other accessories.
