This 120V power strip features a robust all-metal cabinet housing 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, strategically designed with six outlets on the front and six on the back. The outlets are widely spaced, accommodating bulky transformers without obstructing adjacent outlets, ensuring seamless connectivity for all your devices.Engineered for versatility, the RS-1215-RA power strip provides unfiltered electrical pass-through, making it ideal for distributing alternate waveform UPS or generator power. This really helped keep down the clutter on my server rack. I have a lot of smaller components that are on half shelves. For these componets, I was able to use the inside plugs. For the outside plugs, I only had to use a few for components that ran the full depth of my small, 18" deep server rack. My only complaint was that the plug ran from the inside (the switch is on the other side). I would've preferred to have the plug on the same side of the power button. I was just going to use a 1U brush plate to run the cord through, but it ended up being slightly taller than the brush plate opening, so I had to use a 2U brush plate instead. I had plenty of cord length, so that wasn't an issue, it's just an aesthetics issue.

Great design having input on both sides

Used to power Firewall and switches. The power cord is more than long enough. We had to use a 8" extension cord to get it to fit in the outlet because of the layout of other products cable design.

Great unit for an AV system that has many different input sizes such as those with terrible external power bricks w/o having to use pigtail adapters. I haven't had any power issues with popping noises, electrical hum etc.. It also comes with a very nice and long heavy gauge power cord.

I purchase again without hesitation.

This product is well made with allot of outlets. Mounts perfectly on the test rack if needed long power cord makes it easy to operate.

Using for a media center with many devices. Wanted a strip without surge protection since it is connected to a UPS.

With plug design on the devices being different it would have been nice if several of the outlets were not right-angled.

I Got AFree Tripp-Litte Power Strip And It Is Amazing!

I used this PDU to connect 8 new Cisco Switches for our company's upgraded network. We needed something to organize the power cabling to a centralized location and this was exactly what we needed.

The PDU is extremely lightweight and small impact on our rack - you can barely see it! As with most Tripp-Lite products, I am very happy.
