My single-outlet surge protectors are used for sensitive electronic devices around my home where larger protectors are impractical, such as: microwave oven, refrigerator, garage door opener, and shredder. I needed to replace my microwave unit and purchased a Tripplite unit due to its specifications, reputation, and operational light. I also registered my product with Tripplite.

Thus is a very compact and functional single outlet surge protector that I use for my garage refrigerator. It is very compact and it does not cover any other outlet or protrude a lot from the outlet.

Bought 3 single outlet protectors. Used for TV, Garage door opener. Only in place about 1 week. Easy to install. lights lit up. No evidence of any problems. Also, no surges. Need more time to evaluate effectiveness.

This product has worked for us once before & Tripp Lite stood behind their product. We have 2 outlets surge protectors on most of our major electronics. The single outlet is for our computer. We are confident it will perform when the time comes.

Great for when you only need to plug in one thing and you don't want a whole strip cluttering your room. I just with is was designed so that you could plug in two of them. However, I have no problem plugging something in underneath it when necessary. It's also very portable, I could see someone throwing this in a travel bag.

Hi. I purchased this Tripp-lite surge protector for my wife's Apple Air. She sits at kitchen table and does her work. She use to charge it on kitchens counter. Now it's plugged into Tripp-lite to charge and is well protected. I hear it even has an insurance policy of $5000 if something happened to the Apple Air. That's unbelievable, all for like $10-$11.00. Unheard of. Thanks Tripp-Lite. I tell people about it all the time. How can you afford not to use this?

Product was easy to install. Voltage cutoff numbers were quite good. Power handling capacity (Joules) is reasonable. Price is fair. Construction quality is quite good. Technical performance would need to be measured during an event so the consumer cannot really rate this other than evaluating the technical information sheet (which I did). I purchased 8 of these units in a recent wholesale replacement of our secondary surge protectors. They were one of three different types of solutions purchased and installed.

I plugged a SpikeCubes for the treadmill and another for the washing machine. I had not been using any surge protector for these machines, which where probably generating lots of spikes on my home electrical system. It is difficult to know how much these devices are helping/improving or protecting, but I am very happy to have them. I recommend !

This is the only single outlet surge protector that I have ever seen. A recent incident convinced me that everything that is plugged in to an electrical outlet needs surge protection so I purchased some of these. Now I can rest assured that I am protected by TRIPP-LITE quality and insurance.

Protecting my outdoor landscaping lights transformer, which is in the basement. The diagnostic LED lights is a plus as I know it is functioning properly. Its compact design is nice. 3 improvements I'd like to recommend. 1 a lower let through voltage. 2 no voltage to the connected load when the spike cube is compromised. 3 lower clamping voltage.
