I have been eyeing the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 for my A7 IV and when it went on sale for the holidays, I picked up this kit. It was an outstanding price for the lens, two quality lens filters, and cleaning supplies. The lens has exceeded my expectations for quality, size and weight. The lens filters were about half the price I could find them for elsewhere. Even the microfiber cloth and cleaning supplies are of good quality. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and could not find a better deal anywhere.

Lens is terrific - great image quality. Accessories in this kit are nice bonus. Filters and case very useful. The software is irrelevant for me, but might be worthwhile for others.

I just love this lens. It provides me a great focal length to play with wide angle compositions that are not possible with a standard zoom range lens. Although I need to keep changing lenses pretty often, I love the image quality it offers for the price. Totally unbeatable!

This lens completes my Tamron trinity, and like the other members of my trinity, I absolutely love this lens. It's great for landscape and panorama shots, I've also used it for car shows and similar events with fantastic results.The very sharp and vibrant images you get from this lens are amazing, and the auto focus is just insane!. I've always been a huge Tamron fan since my film days ( early 80's ). The only negative that I see is that some people don't like plastic. I love it, It's light weight and has a graphite feel, with the high quality glass, these are some awesome lenses, at great prices. I've been using Tamron for 40 yrs. and never had one break on me. I highly recommend this lens

I love this lens and have had no issues with it. I have used it on the beach mainly and have not noticed any dust or issues with water spray. The image is clear all around, no soft edges that I have noticed.

I'm really disappointed. The photos I took with this lens on the Sony a7iii body are less sharp than the photos I took with the canon 10-22mm lens on my Canon T5i body. I hate to pay 2-3k for a better wide angle zoom but I may have to.

When it comes to a must in Sony cameras for video (even if you are streaming), this lens is by far the best cost benefit you can get for the money. The fact that are small, paired with an a7c, you can go ahead with a very discrete rig and make awesome videos.

I will not recommend it for Small space Real State photos but for anything else is an excellent lens, fast autofocus, and very quiet. I wish Tamron could make a wider version. Delivered quality at an affordable price.

This is a go to for wide. I wish it was a 15-35 but this is the next best thing at half the cost. I use this lens for real state and landscapes and works amazing

This was a great package deal and Adorama did a great job helping me work out the details of getting the products I wanted and needed. The lens itself has been fantastic. It's extremely sharp, had great color and contrast, and a solid autofocus. The flash also seems to be solidly made and creates a nice light output.

I rented both the tamron 17-28 and the Sony 16-35 gm and found that the Tamron approached or equaled the IQ of the GM lens. I figured that for the 1200 savings between these two I could get the new Sony 35mm GM and have far better IQ than the 16-35 could provide and come out a a touch better on cost. This is a great lens, I’m really impressed with what Tamron did with this.

Really happy with the lens! After weeks of research and debating between the Sony G Master 16-35, Zeiss 16-35 and this Tamron lens. I am glad I went with the Tamron. The images are crystal clear and the color on them is spectacular. The lens is very light weight, durable and much more affordable than the other two.

I have found this lens to be very sharp, and to work well with Sony autofocus. As with any lens this wide, there is some distortion and foreshortening. That is still something I am learning to deal with, but that is inherent in any lens this wide. Overall, I have been very happy with this lens's performance so far, and it has allowed me to get real estate shots that were just not possible before.
