My order showed up quickly, which surprised me because I ordered it around Christmas, plus we were hit with a blizzard. I was so eager to receive this lens. An experienced videographer suggested three lenses to me at different price points. I am a novice/ beginner with a Sony A7 R II. While still a little pricey, but not as expensive as the other suggestions, I went for this lens. I am so glad I did! It is super fast with my Sony. I am playing with both MF and AF and am very impressed by what this lens is capable of doing, especially for the price. Plus, once I finally put my footage in Premiere Pro, it was so crispy! This lens has me excited to shoot and I can't wait to try new things. I will learn a lot, and gain experience on this lens. I'm hoping I won't need another lens for a while. Thank you!

The lens is great, But DO NOT ORDER from Adorama. Their shipping is the worst I have ever experienced. They are so slow in processing an order. Do not order from Adorama. Go to B&H or Amazon instead.

Worst Camera Company on the Web

Simply the best walk around lens for my Sony A7IV. Very sharp wide open comparable to my Tamron 28-70mm F2.8 DI III VXD G2! I?m pairing this with my Tamron 35-150mm F2-2.8 which is the best lens I?ve ever used. As far as video, this is the perfect focal length for me. My old lens I recently sold was the Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 for this one. Tamron is knocking it out of the park with every new release! This lens is worth every penny!
