Replaced all primes within the focal range to offset the cost of this purchase. No regrets! Perfect all-in-one lens for corporate and wedding work. The lens itself is well balanced and doesn't feel as heavy as it would seem on my Sony a7IV. Fast focusing, minimal breathing, and sharp! Just get it!

I own and used the older F-mount version of the 35-150, until they released the Z-mount. It has been my go-to for events and even weddings. With the Z version, it is faster, so there's more usable light in any condition; as well as, near prime levels of bokeh throughout the whole zoom range. Coming from the old version, it was just amazing how much quicker the auto focus is, and how effortless the eye and face detect are. The app and those features are actually quite neat, especially if you shoot any video. It is a bit on the heavy side. When I use it on my Z5, I can feel it more in my right hand. Though on my Z6III or an 8 or 9, the weight distributes a lot better with the added grip area. I highly recommend this lens.

covers 24-70 and 70-200 got in 2015 f4 as there were no 2.8. than. This is 2 to 2.8 for 2k nice images good contrast fast focus on 7rii. 7riii, a7riv and 7siii and when video i can program lens for rack focus no breathing! weight even on rs2 is fine unless your a weekend shooter but for professionals that shoot daily this lens is great! I use 3 bodies and 3 lenses for events the 12-24, 35-150, and sony 135 gm for portraits just because contrast color rendition it is the best lens i have ever owned. 3 bodies 3 lenses so lens case left in car. It is not perfect like the Sony gm 135 but it is better than gm 24 or 35 and much sharper with better contrast than 24-70 and 70-200f4 i never give 5 stars but lately new purchases have been that good I return anything at 3 stars so very fastidious with tools not a fan boy of sony but have over 30k in sony glass and bodies so tools i have at moment first non sony lens purchased! customers will never notice the things pros do so make $$

This lens is a game changer. Sharp, great brokeh when needed and I was able to shoot a wedding with 5 attendants without swapping lens. ( It was close and in future would toss on my 24MM) but I am not a wedding photographer by genre. Great versatile product for in the field or volume work. I like not having to swap lens or carry 2 bodies on me for events.

Perfect lens for my A7R4 & A7R5. All around travel, portrait and event photography. Never leaves my camera. Focus is tack sharp. Slight bit heavy and you may need to hits the gym if right arm are sore after using it. Already made money back from my first event shooting. Way to go Tamron!! Sold my Sony 70-200 f4 and 24-70mm f2.8, saved tons of backpack space for just this one lens.

I love this lens! It's a bit heavy and large but has extraordinary optics and it's reallllllllly versatile! It's very fast/accurate with the AF functions of my A7 IV, including animal and bird eye AF.

This lens is nearly perfect, focus is great for anyone but action shooters, also pet AF leaves some things to be desired but the focal distance and aperture range are no joke. Photos look amazing and the weight helps add stabilization in video. It cant focus very close like other tamrons and it will not fit in my sling 3L bag, but otherwise it really is a wondrous lens for event workers. I will probably change out for the 24-70 gm II but this lens is arguably one of the best I've ever used.

Took it on a cross country trip and it works great! I only packed one lens and this is it. A bit on the heavier side, but it?s so versatile. I use it for both landscape and portrait. The depth and focus rings are very smooth. Quick to focus. Highly recommend

I have been photographing events professionally for years now. And for years, I have only carried around a 35mm f/1.4 and an 85mm f/1.4. I usually shoot portraits at events and I desire the most sharp image I can get - hints the primes. I have never liked zoom lenses at all and stay far away from them - less sharp and chromatic aberration. However, I was skeptical when this lens came out and heard really great reviews from a friend. So I decided to rent it. And rent it again, and rent it again. And once more. And now I am going to buy it. I have never used a better lens to be honest... Is it a little big, sure. But nothing crazy. This is one of the sharpest lenses I have ever used and the 35-150mm is perfect for whatever life throws at me. Instead of carrying around 3 lenses, I now only carry around 2 lenses - this lens and a 14-24. I cannot tell you enough, THIS LENS IS SHARP. Worth every dollar. I never write reviews, but I do need to world to know that this lens switched me from primes to zoom lenses because it is just that good. Buy it, rent it, enjoy it!

So this lens is what you're looking for! There has been so many YouTubers cover this so you don't need more from me ?? that said, you can totally shoot a full day on just this lens with the focal ranges it offers. Pair this with a 16-35 or 17-28 and you have coverage from 16/17 mm almost all the way to 150! It's awesome! Oh and did I mention it starts at f/2?! I could go on, but go watch Geral Undone haha!

Fast and sharp zoom lens for Sony E mount. It has wide aperture ranging from f2 ~ f2.8 for the zoom range of 35-150mm. It is awesome multipurpose lens built with great quality material. Amazing lens as seen in all other reviews. This lens was so unexpected, but there is none like it one the market with such a Wide zoom range at that speed. I used the Sony G FE24-105 f4 for the longest time and always wished I had a faster lens or a longer reach and this fits the bill perfectly. The build quality is amazing and just like a G lens from Sony. Its slightly on the heavier and larger side, but I can't complain for the quality and speed that it produces!

So far I had 3 full days of shooting with this lens. I am very happy with my purchase and I have started selling the lenses that this zoom replaces. I have also purchased a new strap as this lens is heavy. There are already a few reviews out so I am not sure I can add much. However, what I can say is that surprised by the high contrast images this lens produces. Definitely better than I expected from a zoom.
