This state-of-the-art lens, designed by Tokina, is tailored for contemporary digital cinema production, offering a super wide field of view in a compact, fully-featured all-metal build. The 11-20mm lens boasts a cinema-style focus throw with 0.8 Mod cinema gears on the focus, zoom, and iris rings. It's equipped with an industry-standard 95mm front ring for easy clamping onto a matte box, and an 86mm filter thread, providing versatile filtration options for both standard matte box usage and challenging shooting conditions requiring a low-profile filter. The lens features the Tokina Cinema Vista Lens Mount, which can be effortlessly switched between PL, EF, Sony E, MFT, and Nikon F, offering maximum versatility for common cinema and still/cinema hybrid cameras. Its parfocal optical design ensures zoom racking without loss of focus, while its well-controlled distortion and limited chromatic aberration at maximum wide open aperture ensure high-quality images. The lens design also provides Super35 sensor coverage.Accompanying the lens is the 86mm Cinema PRO IRND Filter, developed with Tokina's innovative Accu-ND Technology. This technology creates a Neutral Density filter that precisely controls the amount of light entering the lens without affecting color, providing a revolutionary solution for high-end cinema cameras that lack a built-in low-pass or IR cut filter. The Tokina PRO IRND filter is available in both round and square/rectangular styles. The round PRO IRND filter features an ND vapor deposition coating on both sides of the glass for high precision and true neutrality. The square/rectangular filter has an ND vapor deposition coating sandwiched between two layers of glass, allowing for re-polishing in case of scratches, thereby extending the filter's lifespan. The Tokina PRO IRND filter uses suppression rather than cutting to eliminate infrared pollution, avoiding the unwanted color shifts often associated with other IRND filters.
