Ricardo S : I never get a solid green light. Only blinking green light. The Easy-N-Range Extender was located in two places: 1- Far, where the signal is weak, and 2 - about 2.5 ft from the ATT DSL Uverse Gateway/router, where the signal is 100% strong. In both cases, the indicator on the extender has only shown blinking green light (connecting), instead of solid green (connection established). I pressed both the WPS button on the uverse router/gateway and the button on the trendnet N150 Easy-N-Range Extender - Wireless Network Extender. The slide switch was also turned on in the two cases mentioned. Is this defective?
Ken H : Will this also extend a wireless network running the 802.11g protocol?CHARLES Z : The performance is about the same with G or N. Please note this product will only extend your range about 10 feet. I use mine as an access point for a wired device. If you are staying with G and security is not a major concern, consider instead adding a wireless router capable of bridge mode. WEP is required which is not nearly as secure as WAP, but you will nearly double your range.WAEL D : I'm not sure about its ability on that particular protocol. MARK T : Yes. Mine was G too. Small, easy to setup and easy to use

I love the compact size. Range in my apartment is really good, too. This is the same brand my boss recommends for his clients. Setup was pretty easy with the included CD/DVD. There was one question I wasn't sure about (which type of security), but I just searched it on the Internet and found out which type was more secure.

Good Extender, took a little longer...

So far, so good. Got this 3 weeks ago, and set it up a few days ago. Right now, the signal strength is great downstairs in my house. The only issue is that it takes a little longer than the Belkin extender I already have to link up. We also had to try a few times while the light continued to flash green. However, I used the WPS to setup, while I used the internal web setup on the other range extender. So sort of comparing apples to oranges in terms of setup.

IT OK not that great

This extender works OK, and extend the wifi but the speed is slow for the data upload and download.
