Questions & Answers

KENNETH M : Can this card be used with the Pentax K-3?RICHARD P : Sorry I can't answer your question, I could not get it to work at all on my Nikons. I called Toshiba and they said they did not have tech support for that product. That was over 6 months ago, and if I can find mine I might try calling them again.HAROLD Y : Yes, the Toshiba site posts a compatibility list dated December 17, 2014 and the Pentax K-3 is listed. The site is: www.toshiba.co.jp/p-media/wwsite/compati/pdf/flashair.pdf Hope this helps!
Don S : Will the Toshiba Flash Air II SD Card work with my Pentax K-50 Camera?BAILEY R : I'm not sure if it's designed to, but from what i could tell it doesn't work at all anyway. It's an overpriced utterly generic SD card. I was never, on multiple attempts, able to get it to load images wirelessly.JUAN C : It works with my Canon 5D Mark III; and Canon EOS M (like Rebel 5) perfectly. I suppose if your Pentax use SD card it would function, maybe slower due to large storage., of card. Good luck.ROBERT L : Worked fine in Nikon P300, would not work in a Nikon D800. That being said, it seems to be designed for consumer cameras rather than prosumers. There is a section of toshiba's website that addresses the card, it is very well buried, I don't remember how to get to it now. Hope that helps.MARSHALL Z : if the card fits the camera it should work. if it does not work return it. Adorama is great about such thingsKEITH G : I've been using my FlashAir card in my Sony a77 since I purchased it and have no problems connecting to the card. It is relatively straight forward it will connect anytime it is powered up regardless of what device I have it connected to. When it shuts off wifi it works just like any other SD cardHAROLD Y : Hi Don - The Toshiba site lists the Pentax K-50 in the compatibility list dated September 1, 2014 on Page 6, search in Google with these words: "Toshiba 32GB FlashAir II Wireless SD Card, Class 10 pentax k-50" It is a PDF file. Hope this helps!
Shopper : will the photos upload into LR5?SILVESTER T : Yes, I have LR5 too.

Not so convenient...

I purchased this card to use in a camera that is kept in a leather case, that makes access to removing the SD card difficult and time consuming. So I decided to try a WiFi card. The instructions to get it up and running were not clear, and after a few hours of internet reading and video watching I got it configured and operating, on my PC which is what I wanted it for. Now that it does work, it is very tedious and time consuming to get images downloaded and saved. The major issue being, only one image at a time cane be saved to a folder. It does not allow you to highlight multiple images. It also does not allow you to drag an image to your folder. You must instead download it over your browser, to your folder.

Just need to know the tricks

I use the card to allow sharing my photos or to facilitate posting. I'm using it with a nikon d7100. I was about ready to return the card, with I decided to check the website. They have a table of compatible cameras. I noted that my camera was on the list previously. What I didn't see initially was a tiny footnote that wanted the user to put the camera into live view when using this card. Once I did that many of the issues were resolved. Note that the software interface in counter intuitive. Make sure you follow the instructions verbatim. If you just resond to the prompts in a logical way you'll continue to have issues. It's quirky, but once you get the routine, it's really easier (tolerable). It should be easier, but if you put in the effort, it's worth it.

Wireless is pretty bad

It works fine as a standard card. A very expensive one. I can't get the wireless to work at all, though. i finally got it to actually read my camera but then it couldn't download or see an images. Not sure if it's the software or the card, but something isn't working.
