Shopper : I just hooked this up to my TV along with a blue ray player and a cable box. If I have an optical cable going from the soundbar to the TV can I connect a single HDMI cable from the soundbar to get best video quality or should separate cables go from each device directly to the TV?ANDREW R : According to the setup guide you shouldn't need the digital/optical cable if the two devices you are connecting both have HDMI outputs, simply connect them to the HDMI inputs on the Soundbar and connect the Soundbar to the TV using the HDMI out.. The signal passing from the output device (like your Blu-Ray player) through the Soundbar and into your TV is completely digital, degradation should be minimal.
