The camera holder has a standard 1/4" screw so you can attach it to any tripod, including one with flexible legs.DAVID C : Yes, the grip has a standard 1/4"-20 thread. It can be removed from the legs and attached to any tripod with the same size screw thread,MIKE M : Yes, the stand is detachable and both parts can be used independently. See pictured thumbnails below the main product photo. The grip part has a standard tripod 1/4" thread, same as you would find under most consumer cameras.
