I wanted something I could carry all the time without planning whether or not I'd need a full size tripod. The Joby is perfect. At night I use it alot for street photography. I use a canon t6, and its holds up all my lenses with it. Very pleased!

I really like this discrete tripod. It is well built, high quality design. A bit more expensive than others but worth the money.

The Joby Micro Hybrid Tripod is the perfect compliment to my Sony A5000. Really appreciate how I am able to leave it attached to the camera and just spread the legs for support when ever needed. Sure it is great for using on a table top, which I have done often enough in the mere week that I have owned it, but it has also come in handy come in handy on mailboxes, the side of walls, on rocks and just about anywhere I could imagine when I needed just a little more support. When I first opened the box it came in I was apprehensive that something so small would actually be any use. Once I attached it to the camera a world of possibilities opened for how it could be utilized. This is truly one item that when attached to a mirrorless ILC enhances the capability of capturing unique angles and perspectives in my photographic vision. I am looking forward to getting one for each camera body I own since it really takes up very little and is always ready when it is needed. The Mirco Hybrid just adds such fun to the photographic experience.

I love this little tripod. The only problem I've had is that the bottom has what looks to be a coin sized slot. First of all, you don't need anything to get a good snug connection. Secondly, the metal in the slot is very soft and easily damaged. My advice: continue to turn clockwise until you've got a snug fit. That should be plenty tight to allow a firm footing

I've used the small four to six inch "tripods" before that are junk. There parts always come loose by themselves and fall off. Secondly is the "ball head" which is generally a joke. This one is ingenious. It stays attached to the bottom of the camera and takes up very, very little space. When it comes time to take that "selfie" or a group shot it is excellent. Stable, simple, can't get much better than that!

Best part - you can leave this attached to camera. Takes up very little room and never gets in the way. So it is always ready. Big advantage is the different points of view you can get with a pod like this. Very sturdy with most lenses. Really have no complaints and recommend to folks using the Sony Nex system and camera like that.
