Camera Bags are made in two sizes, to small or to big. the explorer 2 is the right fit for a Nikon 1 V1 with two lenses and flash unit. with a little room to spare. Walking with a cane and trying to juggle a camera bag can be a chore. Of the "Fanny Packs and other Bags I've tried this one most suits my needs.

This little bag is great for what I have to carry around. I have one digital SLR camera, one lens, batteries, charger, memory cards, instruction booklet, pen, paper, cords and usually my keys and cell phone. And it all fits perfectly! The light weight design, means it doesn't make my neck and shoulder hurt. I love it!

The bag is deep. To use all it's space, things must be layered.

I just completed a 3000 mile trip and carried my digital slr camera and extra lens in this case. The equipment was easy to access and was protected well. The top flap covers the case after it is zipped which gives good protection against weather. Case is well padded and equipment is protected well. I carried the case a lot while walking and found the shoulder strap to be quite comfortable. I really can find no fault with this product considering its price.

The Explorer 2 is ideal for carrying most digital or film SLRs (like Canon's 20D) with a grip and zoom lens attached, several additional lenses, a flash and accessories.
The main compartment features Tamrac's Dual Foam Technology for shock protection and a custom fit to equipment. An external front pocket features Tamrac's patented Memory & Battery Management System, which uses red flags to identify which memory cards and batteries are available and which ones are used up.
A Speed Pocket on the front flap secures and provides quick access to small accessories. A Total Coverage Top with quick-release buckle and zipper closures provides weather protection.
Inside the lid is a smooth nylon pocket for holding lens cleaning paper and an open pocket in the back holds an instruction manual.
An adjustable, BioCurve non-slip shoulder strap, and an EasyGrip carrying handle provide convenient carrying options for the Explorer 2.
