I bought this for day hiking in the Cascades. So far I have used it on trails, climbing up river beds and bushwhacking through the low brush. Its comfortable, light and streamlined. My first complaint about the bag is the tripod mount location. It hangs off the bottom, that makes it difficult to set the bag down on uneven surfaces, like rocks. My second complaint is the amount of storage for my gear. I bring 1 body and 3 lenses. It all fits but doesn't leave much room for anything else. As far as the rest of the bag, the waist belt is a little cheesy, it would be nice if it was padded. The mesh side pockets are super strong. It has a few compartments to store memory cards, filters or film. There is also a large compartment in the top to store lunch or rain gear. All in all its a decent bag for the price.

Holds a lot of gear. Doesn't look like a camera bag. Don't have to dig through everything to find something. Very well laid out compartments.

Very comfortable yet stylish. Very sturdy construction. Chest and waist straps help disburse weight evenly. Perfect for small day hikes where you don't need everything in your arsenal. Good for my D200, 2 extra lenses and a flash plus a sack lunch and a jacket up top for the way back...
