I transport my Nikon D60, two zooms, flash, point & shoot, digital video camera, and accessories out to the field on a daily basis. This baby is tough, roomy, yet compact and easy to carry.

I stuff it with a set of Pocket Wizards and stand tilt heads, plus some hildozines and paramount cords and a flash or two. does the job OK. Even on sale was not the absolute best value in what I needed. It's not a bad bag, It's quite small, in fact the smallest backback camera bag I know of. I didn't like some of the vinyl material on the front. The Zipper can be hard to close unless you fold down the little rain cover lip and leave it that way. The inside of the bag has good padding. Thats what you buy it for primarily, so it gets my better rating there. For the Pocket Wizard Set up that I use it for, I probably should have got a medium shoulder bag instead but it's OK for what I use it for. If you must have a decent backback that is very small, this is good, otherwise look at other options first. My final rating is medium or average in overall value.

It is as advertised, compact and just the size I’m looking for. It is well made as expected from Tamrac (all my camera bags, 3 to be exact are Tamracs) and well padded. I like the size and the syle but had misgivings initially that it will not accommodate my medium format film camera bodies, backs and lenses (I have two of each). The Tamrac 5574 Expedition 4 is so versatile and highly configurable that I had little problem fitting all my photo equipment in it. It is a bit snug but that’s the way I want it. If you want more room and/or want to pack your tripod check out the Tamrac Expedition 5 or higher for the space you need. The Expedition 4 is too small except for the tiniest of tripods. I carry my tripod in a separate tripod bag and use the Expedition 4 tripod harness and support to hold my water bottle.

A great backpack for toteing around and storing a dslr camera and some equipment. Pack is very well padded and is constructed very nicely, also it keeps your equipment organized very well. The one thing that I found to be disappointing to me is that the pack does not seem to be set up very well to carry a tripod with much weight or size to it ( seems only good for very small lightweight tripod ).

This is a great bag at a reasonable cost. It has outstanding construction, rain flaps and sealed zippers, ample storage space and it is relatively lightweight. I have a Nikon D70s, an 80-200mm F2.8, a 12-24mm F4.0, an 18-70mm F3.5-4.5, a 105mm F2.8 macro, an SB800 flash and a variety of associated filters, chargers, batteries, memory cards and cables. It all fits in this nice compact package. It is a great bag for carrying over your shoulder to a soccer game or just around the city. It is probably too small to carry two camera bodies, a full selection of lenses and a flash though. If you are the average enthusiast with one camera body, however, I highly recommend it.
