This was a hit as a gift!

I purchased this bag for my brother who is a semi-pro photographer and needed a proper bag for his equipment. I have an Adventure 9, so knew Tamrac's quality was top notch. This fit all of his gear and seems to have a little room to grow. The only thing he would have liked was alternate access (side access), but it's obvious from the description that side access is not included, so skip it if you're looking for this option.

Great Backpack

Like with every bag, there are pros and cons. This one is perfect for its purpose. I said a con was accessibility, but that is true with all backpack style bags. It fits my D90 and D70 with lenses attached and has room for 3 other lenses, flash and accessories. I don't think any but the very smallest laptop will fit in the laptop section, but I don't carry one anyhow. I bought this used from Adorama and it was accurately described in excellent condition.

BEST SIZE BAG

I got the bag strictly for trips overseas (Macedonia, Prague, the Amazon) so I could carry multiple cameras and equipment. I now use it everyday. Very good bag and comfortable.

excellent pack with a lot of room

i like this pack a lot. it has plenty of room for my canon 1d camera, flash, and several lenses. i wouldn't want anything smaller. and anything bigger would be too cumbersome. i am very satisfied with this pack. it is ruggedly constructed and it gives me a lot of confidence that my stuff is protected.

Expedition 6x

Bought the bag to hold the equipment that I normally use, but there is still enough room for other stuff. Feels like a rucksack when on your back, but I like the padding on the straps and back of the pack which makes it comfortable for the long haul. It also keeps everything I use neatly organized and is a well thought out design from the tripod holder to the weather sealed zippers.

This medium size pack offers foam-padded protection and quick access to multiple SLRs, lenses, flash and accessories. The main compartment is completely foam padded with numerous adjustable, foam-padded dividers to protect digital or film SLRs, 5-6 lenses and a flash. The camera with a long zoom lens attached is suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers that are internally reinforced with rigid plastic.

A restraint strap holds the lens firmly in place. Two Windowpane-Mesh pockets inside the front flap visibly organize filters, film and other accessories. A plastic, foam-padded platform in the bottom provides shock protection while a LockDown rain flap protects the zipper from the elements.
