Just go it and used on a plane trip. Carried 3 lenses; speed light, camera, extra batteries, two charges, filter box, cleaning gear, and misc. small personal items, such aspirin, vitamins, prescribed medicine. Dropped it once with no damage; this is great travel gear. Snaps, zipper and velcro provide three levels of security. When they all are engaged access can be slow - if you need a quick shot or fast lens change.

The Tamrac 5606 has great and efficient capacity. Its padding offers excellent protection. However the 6 front compartments are each too small. In the older version, there were 3 front compartments which could hold bulkier items. Also, the older version had a pull out section in the top for things like extra batteries. The new version lacks this useful feature. It is still a good bag, but the older version was better.

This is a very sturdy and well padded camera bag. I was able to fit a camera body with battery grip connected, along with 3 lenses, a flash and several accessories. A ton of compartments and pockets were a plus. This was a great camera bag for what I needed at the time but will soon need to upgrade because I have since purchased additional gear. Overall I've been very pleased.

Plenty of room for Pentax K-7, 3 lenses, and flash. The Lens-Bridge and LensGate Divider Systems makes the camera easy to access.

Great bag, it has lots of room for a camera with a battery pack attached, as well as a telephoto lens, and room for more lenses, flashes, and all the peripherals you could need. The holder that is designed for the memory cards and batteries is a nice touch too, although it could be more accessible. Great construction, lots of extra space, and a great value compared to other bags of similar size and construction.

I went with this product because the product images showed a decent number of lenses and accessories. However, I'm guessing all the lenses they show are smaller primes. I have a 28-135mm, 10-20mm, and 100mm macro, and that's all this will hold. Larger diameter lenses like these take up enough space that only 2 of the lens sections are big enough for lenses. The others are pressed flat enough that they can only hold a rocket blower, 4" mini-tripod, and my tripod plate. Having said that, if you only have 2 lenses, this is a very nice looking, sturdy bag with excellent accessory pockets.

Plenty of room for Pentax K-7, 3 lenses, and flash. The Lens-Bridge and LensGate Divider Systems makes the camera easy to access.
• The System 6 is designed to carry a digital or film SLR with an attached zoom lens in Tamrac's USA patented Lens-Bridge and LensGate Divider Systems plus 3 to 4 extra lenses and a flash. Equipment is protected in completely foam-padded adjustable dividers beneath Tamrac's full coverage Dual Action Top.
• The 5606 is equipped with a Slide Pocket that incorporates Tamrac's exclusive Memory & Battery Management System (patent pending) for holding memory cards, batteries and other accessories. A pocket inside the top keeps film and accessories visible and organized. The ZipDrop front pocket is compartmentalized for accessories or personal items and a zippered mesh accessory pocket keeps small items in easy reach. Side pockets provide extra storage and a zippered back pocket provides a place for tickets and documents. You can add Tamrac accessories using the attachment slots for the Strap Accessory System (S.A.S.) to customize this bag. An EasyGrip handle, Piggy-Back Pocket, BioCurve shoulder strap with a non-slip patch, and tripod straps combine with the rest of the features to make this an excellent choice for the photographer with a single camera and plenty of equipment.
