Questions & Answers

Shopper : Will this hold a canon 5d mark iii with a 24-105 lens attached and hold a 16-35mm and 70-300mm?MICHAEL F : Not to my satisfaction. I returned the bag.ROBERT M : its rather small...i have a nikon f100 film camera and small lens on it and one other 70-300 f5.6...if any questions u have...id go a little bigger...having a film camera it pretty much just sits there...so camera small attched lens and one other med size will max it out...good luckPETE I : I bought this bag a while ago. At the time I had a Nikon d7000 with battery grip a 70-200 2.8, a 24-70 2.8 50 mm 1.4 as well as a flash and various filters and cords. This is a big bag no doubt although I found it a little awkward but that could be because I have so much stuff I don't see an issue with the bag can rearrange the equipment you describe. This bag is durable and well made I would recommend this
Shopper : Can you carry an i-Pad in the case?LEON B : An ipad fits in the front pocket if you do not carry a lot of other stuff. I took out my Nikon manual, a lighter and a flash light and the ipad fit great. I am sure it could go inside but you would have to work on the compartment configurations. Good bag.CLIFFORD R : That would be a question to ask customer service at ADORAMA. I don't have an i-Pad, but I think you could fit one in the pockets on the back side of the bag. Also depending on how you pack the bag, you could have room inside the bag, above the storage area.CHRIS D : I have an iPad 2. The only place it fits in this bag is in the external rear pocket. It does not fit inside. An iPad Mini will fit in the front zipped pockets however.MICHAEL M : Yes, Ipad will fit in the case.KENNETH L : I suppose that you could, but I wouldn't recommend it as the pocket on the back is not padded and offers little protection. It's also very tight so that even if you have the tablet in case, it probably wouldn't fit.
Shopper : does anyone know if this model holds a nikon d3 with speedlight and 3 to 4 prime lenses....?? tksKAREN N : Yes, it should. Very adaptable, fits smaller APS-C dSLRs just fine, and a D3 isn't too wide to fit. If you're working with primes it should be fine, too. And a speedlite will also fit. Plus, there are plenty of nooks and crannies for everything else.BRIAN V : I do not know about what lenses you suggest, but I will give you my opinion. I use it to hold most of my gear and to that end I wished I would have gotten the Pro 10. The 8 is too large and heavy for the "carry bag" so the larger bag would be slightly better. When I put my D3100 and my D7000 in with lenses it will only work with the shorter ones such as the 18-55 on the 3100 and 18-105 on the 7000. I do really like the design and quality of this bag and the pockets are well designed. I keep my strobe triggers and chargers in the end pockets, the cameras with lenses, 2 other lenses, seckonic light meter, 2 speedlights, and various cords, caps, filters, notpad, pen, etc in the front pockets, and I really like the memory card indicator system, except I have started just keeping blank ones in the memory card wallet and the used ones in the Pro 8 pockets. If I was to by another I would get the 10, but if you have just one body it is plenty big. Hope this helps.LEON B : My bag has a D7000, lenses 28-70, 28-300, 10-28. No speed light but it would fit. Sometimes I also carry a macro lens. Sorry I cut short my first response .LEON B : Yes you will fit all of that in but do not expect any additionaequipment to fit. In my bag a d7000 MICHAEL F : This bag will hold all of the items that you listed but........you will have to be a whiz in figuring out the placement of the movable dividers.I was not satisfied with the configuration and returned the item for credit.RAYMOND F : Hi I have a Nikon D70s , nikkor 70-200mm lens, nikkor 70-300mm lens, nikor 60mm micro lens, nikkor 12-24mm lens, nikkor 18-70mm lens and speed flash. ALso I have several filters to add to my collection. If you pack it right and make your velcro to shape the compartments to fit you will have no problem. All my gear fits with room to spare. I must say with all my gear, it is on the heavy side.

Packing Perfection

I have two Olympus cameras and OM-D and an E-620 with 4 different lenses; two chargers with batteries and other accessories, which all fit perfectly in this amazing bag. It handles everything I need and more -- it is lightweight - it is attractive and it is SAFE! I don't have any complaints or negative comments about this item.

Perfect bag for my purposes.

I recently returned from a trip to Kenya and wanted to set up a travel kit that could accomodate all the gear I wanted to carry on my next outing. This Tamrac bag is just the right size for the equipment I want to keep at hand while the rest goes into a Pelican wheeled carry-on. I put a D800 with 24-70, some extra lenses, a flash and other things in the Tamrac; and my D7100 with my 70-200, 150-500 and other items go in the Pelican. The Tamrac sits right on top ot the Pelican, the Pelican can go into the overhead and the Tamrac can sit under the seat. Great system!

2 bodies......I don't know about that..

Nikon d90 with a small zoom....3 small prime lenses thats about it for the hardware...but great bag...needless to say the bigger the bag the heavier it gets...so this bag works great for me...could use a little more space..i have fast lenses therefore pretty thick..overall great buy and protection and will buy again..padded strap feels great... i've used domke bags for 20 years this is much more modern and protective.

Average bag, sturdy, good for the price

Not as big as the description indicates but still a little larger than the bag I was previously using that needed replacing. Hence, I'm happy with it.

Just the Right Size and Great Features

Holds my Pentax K20D (with battery grip attached), three lenses, Metz 58 AF-1 Flash Unit, batteries, cable, battery charger, filters, lens cleaner, etc. with room left over. I doubt that I will outgrow it.

Love it!

Just what is needed if you have two cameras and need storage for other items for a compact storage bag. Room for the cameras, extra lenses, flashes and more. Ideal if you really need compact storage for your gear.

Roomy, secure, functional, competent bag

This is a very well-designed bag with well-thought out features such as the movable dividers, all the little pockets, and the secure closures. I carried a Nikon D90 and D40, four lenses, filters, batteries, lens hoods, SB-600 flash, a memory card case, cleaning supplies, and more for a week on vacation and shooting a wedding/rehearsal. My equipment was well protected and easy to access. Rugged construction and multiple secure closures meant that I could move and transport with confidence. Overall, this is just a great bag if you need to take it all with you.

great, but can really weigh you down

This is a great bag that can fit a ton of equipment. I can fit two medium-sized bodies, with lenses (with lens hoods), a smaller film body with a 50mm prime, a normal zoom, a couple small primes, and 2 more larger lenses in the space underneath the cameras, or you can put smaller backup bodies in that space, just in case. There is tons of space in the other pockets for filters, cleaning cloths, lens pens, batteries, memory cards, and film. however, if you're going to be carrying this around fully loaded, look into getting a better strap, as the one that comes with the bag feels inadequately padded under a full load. other than that, there really isn't anything wrong with this bag. it's great for carrying around enough stuff to last you through a full day of shooting.

Great Bag

Is a great bag, needed a new bigger carry bag for 2nd camera and this one fit the bill. Not to large but has enough room for 2 cameras w/lens, 3 extra lens, Flash, 2 filter pouches, 3 extra camera batteries, 8 AA for the flash and 2 camera battery chargers, Like the pull out pouch for the memory cards and batteries.

Great bag

Great bag, may not be suitable for 2 cameras, but easily holds a D300 with battery grip and a 80-200mm lens attached, 2 more lenses and a flash unit, leaving some room to spare for cables, chargers and nicknacks. Has great pockets on sides, and interior is easily adapted to any need. Memory compartment is easily reachable, and very useful.

Typical Adorama Excellence

Excellent camera bag with all sorts of nooks and crannies to stow equipment in. Easily hold 2 camera bodies with lenses attached; several other lenses; flash; spare batteries; filters and extra memory cards. Long adjustable strap will adjust to any size person and makes carrying it cushy. 4 outside compartments with room for everything from papers.

Good, solid, medium sized, camera bag.

This is a great day bag that allows you to carry two bodies, lenses and a couple of flashes with gobs of room for memory cards, extra batteries, etc. A good waist belt would be a great additon to this bag.
