My Jan, 2010 5 star review still stands. Had occasion to get caught in a nasty wind/rain/hail storm last month in northern AZ. Zipped the bag up and was rewarded by Tamrac's great contruction/design: Not a drop of moisture inside the bag. Outside seemed that it had been dunked in a tub of water. Storm lasted for an hour and I froze. No damage to any photo stuff, though.

This is a monster bag with room for two full sized DSLR cameras. You will not want to carry it around with you but for transporting a lot of equipment in you vehicle it is great. And since that's why I bought it, I love it. Not for the faint at heart photographer! When it's fully loaded you need a crane to lift it!

Great bag, had reservations that it may be too big. When I tried to load two DSLR bodies (Olympus aren't that big) and lenses, things get tight. Equipement doesn't seem to fit as clean as in the diagram- but that's always the case. Ended up bagging an old lens in another case. The strap is awesome, long enough to put over your opposite shoulder.

Great sized bag for daily carrying. I soon out grew this bag in favor of a HUGE back pack. However, I use this for a daily outing consisting of a camera, several flashes and a couple lens (2 or 3). Great protection and ease of use. Strap is padded and fits well over your shoulder. Really a great bag.

I can just fit my Nikon d7000+ grip, 1x 28-105, 1x 18-70, 1x 70-300, 1x 11-16 f2.8, 1x sb700 flash and a spare d70 body there is barely any room left in the main compartment which is perfect for my needs, The two bodies with the 18-70 and 28-105 mounted will not fit,I have one body unmounted which is cool, I would suggest the larger bag if you need two bodies with lenses mounted. there are pockets and things for memory cards, batteries chargers etc All in all a well built bag this is what i can fit in it so you have an idea, My setup is dx if you have a heap of f2.8 lenses it may not be big enough for your needs

Bag is well constructed and has two end pockets. Padding is real good. I can put a body with a long lens on it in the bag with 3 other lens. In addiion, 1 or 2 flashes. Nice bag for day carry round. Slightly bulky. Well thought out bag. I like it for times when I don't need to carry a ton of equipment, put would like the option to changes lens or use flash. Super bag overall.

It's big enough to carry all the equipment I need but not too big to weigh you down

Great bag for 2 cameras. Easily handles Nikon D300 with 18-200mm zoom and hood mounted. Nikon Coolpix 5700 and several aux lenses. Chargers for both cameras, incl cords, manuals, many other accessories. Very well padded, easy access to stowed items, easy to carry with shoulder strap or top carry handle. Like everything about this bag.

I spent a little more then I wanted too, but this bag is definitely worth the money. It's well constructed and there's plenty of pockets for accessory storage. The color of the bag is darker than pictured which is actually a plus.[...]

Lots of pockets and dividers. A bit overboard perhaps on the flap fastenings as there is a 2-tab zipper, 2 bayonet buckles on the flap bottom, a buckle on each flap side, and 2 velco patches. Rest assured the flap will not inadvertently pop open when everything is secured. Nicely padded inside and on the shoulder strap.

The Tamrac Pro 8 is a big, well-padded bag. I love that I can fit my DSLR with grip in it with a telephoto lens still mounted. The lens gate system keeps pads around the sides and front. It would be hard to carry a second DSLR with a lens on, though a body alone would probably fit well enough.

This is a large bag that carries three SLR bodies a flash gun and six lens comfortably. It also has pockets galore for batteries and memory cards. Although it is heavy when loaded up with all the equipment I found the cross over shoulder strap very comfortable. It has numerous pads that allow for a tailored set up inside. All main pockets close with zipper and velcro giving optimum protection. A highly recommended camera bag.

I was looking for a bag that would hold all my equipment in one place. So when I wanted my whopper lens or my macro they both were in one handy case. My only suggestion might be some added stylish flair. I added my own decorative ribbon trim. It's a girl thing.

The Pro 8 uses Tamrac's patented Lens-Bridge and LensGate divider systems to protect two 35mm or digital SLRs with lenses attached, multiple lenses and accessories. Equipment is completely protected beneath Tamrac's unique full coverage Dual-Action Top that features quick-access Easy Squeeze buckles plus an internal zipper access for extra protection and security.
The Pro 8 is equipped with a Slide Pocket that incorporates Tamrac's exclusive Memory & Battery Management System (patent pending) for holding memory cards, batteries, a PC Card and other accessories. This unique system uses red flags to identify used memory cards and batteries.
Pockets inside the top keep film and accessories visible and organized. The ZipDrop front pocket is compartmentalized with organizer pockets and a zip mesh accessory pocket. Foam-padded side pockets provide convenient out side storage and a zippered back pocket is a safe place for tickets and documents. A strong plastic platform in bottom provides shock protection. An EasyGrip handle, padded BioCurve shoulder strap with a non-slip patch and tripod straps round out the long list of features. You can add Tamrac accessories using the attachment slots for the Strap Accessory System (S.A.S.) products to customize this lightweight professional-sized camera bag.
