I really like this bag! I use a BlackRapid strap for my Nikon D600 and was a little concerned that holding the camera on my right hip would be cumbersome with this sling bag. Not a problem at all. The construction is great. The sling portion allows pretty easy access to camera equipment as you slide the bag around. If you are in an urban area, the zipper and side clasps would make it very difficult for someone to nimbly pick equipment out of the bag without my knowing about it. A minor design nit is the fact that the bottom of two lenses on one side has to be accessed by moving the top lens, then lifting the velcro divider. A minor issue--just keep the lesser used lens in that position. Having the ability to carry an iPad in the main compartment is a plus over the old design of the 8x.

I replaced it with the 7z and it is a perfect fit.
