After extensive research and innovation, the Borea BR09 Floorstanding Speaker, the flagship of the Borea range, stands as a testament to TRIANGLE's commitment to high-fidelity sound. Towering at 1.1 meters, this speaker is a blend of advanced technology and TRIANGLE's expertise, designed to deliver precise vocal reproduction and deep, resonant low frequencies while maintaining a broad soundstage. The Borea BR09 is equipped with three 16cm bass drivers that operate in a large "bass-reflex" enclosure, enabling the speaker to reach down to 35Hz. This feature, combined with its high-power handling, makes this speaker an ideal choice for larger rooms (more than 30 sq. m). The Borea BR09 incorporates the EFS (Efficient Flow System) tweeter, a next-generation system that pairs a 25mm silk dome with a specially developed phase plug to ensure uniform high-frequency diffusion. This system minimizes directivity, providing a clear reproduction of high frequencies no matter where you are in the room. The midrange driver of the Borea BR09 features a 100% natural cellulose paper membrane, unique to TRIANGLE, that avoids any coloration of intermediate frequencies and delivers stunningly realistic and tonal vocals. The low frequencies are delivered by fiberglass membranes known for their excellent vibratory behavior. Their rigidity allows for the strong reproduction of each impact while maintaining an airy sound. The Borea BR09 also features the proprietary DVAS (Driver Vibration Absorption System) to reduce internal vibrations in the cabinet. This system, unique to TRIANGLE, not only reduces the vibratory behavior of the structure but also absorbs the vibrations generated by the movement of the bass drivers, ensuring a listening experience free from coloration or structure noise. Each speaker in the Borea range, including the BR09, comes with its own decoupling system. The floorstanders have a pedestal for greater stability, with four inserts for the implementation of decoupling spikes. Rubber pads are also provided for flooring that does not allow the use of spikes. The Borea BR09 is also equipped with a magnetic protective grill, free from visible inserts or screws, for a sleek and clean look. For optimal sound, it is recommended to remove the grills when listening to the speakers. Great Sound and beautiful

Absolutely outstanding speakers for music I haven't tried them for home theater just music and every time I listen I'm impressed not what someone who insist on bass heavy listening would appreciate with someone who wants a speaker that delivers a flat response that is more in tune with what was actually recorded on the mastered record, disc, or CD. I guess I mostly listen to what would be called Golden oldies now. 50s, 60s, 70s, early '80s rock and roll, rock, classic rock. It's all reproduced with such accuracy I'm able to hear things I never heard before in the recordings. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to listen to music just as it was recorded and mastered. And they look nice too. The magnetic grills are wonderful addition to any speaker. And yes Triangle recommends listening without the grills and there is a discernible difference in the sound. I was fortunate enough to find these on sale a couple of months back at 50% off and the oak color that I wanted. Almost killed myself in a rush to order them. They came and wonderful condition the packaging with such that everything came in perfect even though one box had a hole in it and it wasn't easy to put that hole in because that box was extremely thick. I had Polk RT2000s that I used for my home theater and my stereo listening for many years they were good but just okay for music. Before that I had a pair of Boston Acoustic A200s with the oak veneer that I loved. The only reason I had to give them up was the rubber speaker surrounds we're starting to dry rot and at the time there was nothing that could be done except replace the speaker in Boston Acoustics did not have any. Now there are kits to replace those rubber surrounds.  But it seems that the fond memories of those speakers are being replaced by the new memories of these Triangle  BR09s.

Wonderful speakers for music.

I had almost settled for BR08, when I found these on sale, and thought I would give them a try. Even if I had paid 100% full price I still would feel like I had stolen them. They are worth every penny lots of detail in the highs and mids and even the lows are worthy of praise. The Sound Stage is there, it's detailed it may not be the sound said you here with a pair of  $20,000 speakers, but it sure sounds like it's coming from something much more expensive than what these speakers are selling for. They look good sound good, I am hoping they last for a long time. Take a chance I think you'll find yourself very pleased that you did. They are large enough to be effective, without being obtrusive. They sound so much better than what you're paying for even if you pay full price. I absolutely love them.

More than meet my demand for quality sound at a price that I can afford.

Been eyeing these for a while, so when they went on sale it what a no brained for me. 

Look good, sound even better. The amp I have them connected to right now is old and under powered and they still sound rich and full. Can?t wait to get a decent amp hooked up to really hear the potential.
