Beautiful pair of speakers with an amazing sound profile. Lyrical to pure instrumental songs sound incredible. Haven't had any problems with volume or clarity so far. I can't recommend them enough. They arrived relatively on time because there was a freak snow storm that delayed the original delivery date.

Great speaker was amazing price. Astonishing mid, solid bass, sound stage is very well for nearfield setting. Dynamic is good. Overall is bang for the buck.

This is one of those rare bookshelf speakers that you will enjoy for decades! It is well balanced with excellent imaging and clarity. It's not for heavy bass and it's not fatiguing to lesten for hours. It just so happens to has one of the most atttractive finish (Chestnut) I've ever seen. I'm playing flac and mp3 files through my vintage '76 Pioneer SX-550 and BT receiver...proving that music enjoyment is possible on a budget!

For the money these speakers are worth every penny. I run mine nearfield with a quality class AB amp and a decent DAC. For full disclosure sake, I was able to take advantage of a price special at time of purchase so I didn't pay full ask. However even knowing what retail is, I wouldn't be upset or regret them at that cost either... and that is now after living with them for a few weeks + of everyday use. For the money they do everything better than I expected. I was thinking of them as a temporary buy until I grabbed something else but I will most likely keep these and blow the money elsewhere in the signal path instead. A+ all around audiophile entry speakers. They also look even better in person so A+ there too.

I own both the 3s and 2s and marginally prefer the 2s. Equivalent bass to the larger model 3 but the bigger differences are in the mids and treble. The 3s tend to have a livelier sound and while not bright as many people believe, they do tend to be a bit forward and project sound more in front of the physical speaker. The 2s can be described as a bit more balanced with warmer treble. Both are great for sure but I find myself listening to the 2s more often for very relaxing listening sessions.

Great speaker for the money and made even a better value at the sale price.

I'm no audiophile, but I can definitely say that these are some fantastic speakers, especially when they can be had at $280 USD a pair like I was able to get them for. I've been using them for a few weeks now, in combination with a Sony STR-DH190, and have been nothing but pleased. They are quite large for something that's being used as a computer speaker, but they don't take up too much desk space to the point where they become inconvenient (desk in photos is 24" depth for reference). I can't give a detailed description on the sound, as I'm far from knowledgeable on the subject, but for an average user who is always looking for an excuse to upgrade part of my gaming setup, I can say that these have phenomenal value.

I purchased these from adorama through Amazon early this year and I am extremely impressed. I have also heard the Br03's but I decided against them because if you are going to get a sub or have a sub the upgraded bass on the 03's is just not worth it... If you can get these for 200$ with the occasional sale then you are truly getting enormous value. This is a taste of hifi if setup correctly and I would definitely recommend. At first I thought that speakers for 200-300$ can't be that good right? Well they are..

Great smaller speakers for an office or small room, using them in my office at work and they look great and sound amazing even close in/low volume

I paired the BR02 with the BRC1 center expanding my 5.2 setup to a 5.2.2, my old speakers (Focal Dome) are now being used as surrounds and they pair very well with the Triangles. I mainly listen to music and the sound is amazing even at higher levels, treble is not harsh. Speakers are also great for home theater use. I am using a Denon AVR-S750H and the room is 20x18.

As an hifi addict with a megabuck system, I bought these out of curiosity. I will say that I am impressed, These are not high end speakers, but they are a big step up from mid-fi and provide just a taste of what high end sounds like. What I like best about these is that they are designed to do no wrong, and compensate for cheaper components upstream and they sound very smooth and nice. You can listen all day to these and be happy. I paired them with all sorts of amps, DACs and subwoofers. The cheapest ones sounded good and the better ones sounded better, but not that much better compared to a more revealing speaker. Highly recommended for the sale price for people who just want to listen to music (vs throw a party and have the ground shake). You can live with these for a long time and not feel that you need to upgrade to the next better one next year. (At full retail, there are other ones that offer better value.)

the Triangle Borea BR02 are fantastic value to my ears, very balanced, with a smooth top-end and mid-range, and good bass considering their size, I think they areba real bargain in the current speaker scene

Best for the buck. Sounds incredible. Even paired with cheap 70 dollars Amps sounds better than 500 dollar active speakers

The soundstage these little guys produce is impressive. Very warm and natural mid-range with crisp and clear highs. I’ve heard details in songs I never recognized until I hooked these speakers up. Very impressive bass too for such a small speaker!

Got them on sale for $279. Unbeatable for the money, even at regular price. This is the absolute cheapest speaker that Triangle makes, and it's great. I am pairing these with a subwoofer, so I don't need them to have much bass.

These are great baby stand mounts. Unfatiging in every way. Mid bass bump for low end but that's expected for something this small. They excell at mid-range. Vocals are fantastic. Highs are detailed but not in your face. Bass is sufficient for a stand mount this size. Paired with a sub these would almost be an end-game for some. Im going to use them for bedroom and office set ups. Recommended over the Bro 3's. These have a more mature sound signature than their bigger brother in my opinion. Recommended at a discount price. Not sure it's worth full MSRP. Thanks Adorama for carrying Triangle Acoustics

Before purchasing the BR02's, I also had their bigger brother, the BR03's, which I ended up gifting to my daughter. Since the BR02's live in the 'shadow' of their much (over)hyped bigger brother, I think it's fair to start off with the fact that I think the Br02's produce a much balanced and well-rounded sound signature than their bigger brother. They sound slightly warm, with big dynamics and a smoothed treble. The BR03's will produce more bass, but they will also produce glaring and bright treble, depending on which equipment they're matched with. The BR02's on the other hand are really unfussy about equipment matching, and will sound great with most amplifiers. I really like the BR02's for near-field listening on my desktop, and for that purpose I think they have no equal in this price range.

I purchased these after seeing/reading a multitude of positive reviews, most citing the Triangle’s openness and level of detail. I tried these with 2 different amps; a Denon and NAD and in both cases I couldn’t get any detail out of these speakers. The bass muddied the midrange badly enough where vocals were nearly indiscernible. I had higher expectations but was let down. They’re really nice looking and well built, just too soft for me.

Snagged these for $299 ( without $25 back from AMEX too!) I’m blown away. There is consistent, smooth but slightly strong sound across all the Hz. The lows aren’t begging for attention nor are the highs. Everyone is cohabitating perfectly with lots of room for you to have a seat with everyone. So grab your favorite drink or smoke, put your feet up and prepare for an experience like no other at this price point. Triangle really made something special here.

The bookshelf speaker Borea BR02 is the most compact speaker of the range. It fits easily on a dedicated stand (S02/S04), your bookshelf or most other furniture. A perfect introduction to the world of hi-fi, this small speaker will surprise you by the immersion and sound amplitude it provides.
Equipped with a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 13cm transducer with a natural cellulose paper membrane, this speaker transposes all the richness of the voices and instruments tones, while maintaining a surprising bass level for its reduced size.
It will fit perfectly in rooms of up to 20m2, offering the dynamism and energy emblematic of TRIANGLE. The BR02 can also be used as an effect channel (Surround or Atmos) in home theater setups.

EFS Tweeter: A Diffusion Throughout The Room
The tweeter of the Borea range is equipped with a next-generation system called EFS (Efficient Flow System).
It is based on the association of a 25mm silk dome, known for its neutrality, with a phase plug developed specifically to homogenize high-frequency diffusion. This system significantly reduces the directivity regardless of your listening location in the room.
The dome is placed inside the partial horn loading, reducing reflections and allowing a clear reproduction of the high frequencies. This transducer is powered by a neodymium motor generating high magnetic power in a compact size. It is coupled to a cooling system, ensuring a better power handling.
Midrange In Natural Cellulose: A Unique Tonality
The Borea range, inheritor of the Esprit Ez technological innovations, also incorporates a midrange driver with a membrane made out of 100% natural cellulose paper, receiving no surface treatment. This paper membrane, unique to TRIANGLE, avoids any coloration of the intermediate frequencies, and transposes the voices with stunning realism and tonality.
In an ongoing pursuit of excellence, the profile of the cone was also redesigned to improve the rigidity and now provides an extended frequency response.
On the three-way floorstander, the midrange driver incorporates a small pleat peripheral short-travel suspension, which Triangle is known for. Very rigid and perfectly adapted to the driver with short travel suspension, it allows a perfect control of the movement of the moving elements, thus ensuring natural-sounding vocals.
Punching, Powerful and Precise Low Frequencies
The mission of TRIANGLE's engineers is to deliver a rich and dynamic sound in the low frequencies, emphasising the pace without ever distorting the music. Controlled low frequencies is an ongoing quest. Living up to its reputation, TRIANGLE focuses on fast and precise drivers, with large engines, all housed in optimized cabinets. The impact disappears as quickly as it has arrived, for a perfectly controlled rhythmic reproduction.
To achieve this, TRIANGLE has opted for membranes in fiberglass with an excellent vibratory behavior. Their rigidity enables to strongly reproduce each impact while leaving space for the vocal range, thus keeping an airy sound. TS300 Stand (Optional) is available.
