The 24 x 36" Solid Black Flag is made of a deep black fabric stretched over a metal frame which has a pin that fits in a grip head. This flag is used as a gobo to completely block the light falling on the subject or a portion of the subject.

No moving parts

It's a flag like any other.  Apparently TRP's duvetyne has very good flame retardance which is nice.  Buy any flag, net, open frame or silk and you'll be fine.   Just stick with brands used on film and video work like Advantage, Matthews, Modern and TRP and avoid the cheap brands.
