The Tascam CD-A580 is engineered to play audio from cassette tapes, CDs, and USB flash media, offering a comprehensive solution for all your playback needs. It also supports recording to cassette and USB, enabling you to archive your cherished cassette tapes as MP3 files on USB media. This feature ensures that your valuable audio content is preserved in a modern, digital format.
Equipped with a headphone jack featuring level control, the CD-A580 allows for private listening and precise audio monitoring. The included infrared remote control and LCD display with level meters enhance user convenience and control, providing an intuitive interface for seamless operation.
The cassette deck of the CD-A580 supports playback of normal (TYPE I), chrome (TYPE II), and metal (TYPE IV) tapes, while recording is available on normal (TYPE I) and chrome (TYPE II) tapes. With one-way IC Logic transport control, you can easily manage recording and playback functions, and the +/-10% pitch control offers additional flexibility for audio adjustments. The recommended tape length ranges from 10 to 90 minutes, catering to various recording needs.
The CD player component supports playback of audio CDs, CD-RW discs, and data CDs containing MP3 files. It offers various repeat playback modes, including Single, All, and Program, to suit your listening preferences.
For USB flash drive operations, the CD-A580 allows recording from CDs, cassettes, and line input sources as MP3 files. It also supports MP3 file playback with shuffle, program, and folder repeat playback options, along with manual file division for TAPE/LINE inputs.
