Tascam has hit one out of the stadium with this one. This unit is amazing. It has all the inputs/outputs onc can want.
Back in the day, a 24 Track open reel and mixing console would have been astronomically priced compared to this all in one unit. Very intuitive to use, has great features and great sound. If you need a multi-track recorder mixer, just get this.
For the bundle price the speakers are nice and convenient to have, although new to the unit I have not found anything I dislike about it

Fantastic recorder
I've been recording, and creating, music for 30 years and this recorder is fantastic. Easy to use, once you read the instructions, and fun to work with. Results are excellent. I have no complaints about this item, and the customer service from Adorama is top notch. Great company to do business with and I highly recommend the product and the seller.

It's A Plesure To Use And A Bargin
I have Pro Tools but I needed a way to easily record 2 vocal and 2 guitars quickly and easily. This works great. The 2 guitars are acoustic and have pickups and amps. They work easily with the line inputs. The mics also work well.
We report the WAV files from the recordings and import the into Pro Tools door effects and mix down

Excellent home recording choice for a small band.
We purchased this recorder to record a demo small folk group. There are many routes for recording a demo, but we decided on this device for these reasons: it has 24 tracks, can record 8 tracks simultaneously (we need 8 tracks), has nifty built in software, and doesn't require a computer. We didn't want to spend $$ for studio hours when we could refine our recordings using this device. So far the quality has been great, near studio really if you have good mics and a quiet environment (I've recorded in a studio before). If you have a small group and want to record a demo, definitely consider this recorder.

Great digital recorder and mixer from Tascam
I bought this Tascam 24 track SD recorder because I used an older model for several years, then gave it to a student. What I like about this unit is that it is simple and direct, and you can record and mix tracks very easily. The sound is crystalline clear, and the SD cards can be easily used to load WAV files to a computer for storage or for further processing. Thus far I have found no problems, bearing in mind that the user has to learn "Tascam Think" to follow the instruction manual, which is mostly easy to understand. I would recommend this 24 SD to anyone wishing to do basic to intermediate recording without going into interfaces such as Logic Pro or Pro Tools. R J Stewart, 2016
