Jimmy J : Can you monitor each channel separately?CHRIS N : I have to admit to hardly using the recorder since I bought it. I am also just moving house so everything is in a mess and I couldn't find it if I tried. Having said that I am almost certain you can. In fact I believe there is a seperate gain control for each track. But not sure if this is true if using the 3.5mm input. Hope this helps or check with manufactures.JOEL K : I ended up with the 70D and it only allows monitoring of stereo pairs or a mix of both pairs. You can't monitor channels separately, only in pairs. I'm pretty sure the 60 is the same.JOE G : Yes, you can monitor each channel or as a mix in.FRANK B : While recording, you have a choice between "MIX," which is any or all of the four channels mixed together, or "CAM," which is the output of the sound routed through the video camera. Good Recorder Good Price

I just recently bought this and it came today on Aug 9th via UPS, and test with my new Rode NTG2, Rode Blimp it works. Lots of people said the Rode NTG2 does not have a strong output, Just need to set your Gain = Mid, Limiter = Mono, and low Cut= 80khz, and with Tascam DR60DMKII the audio output was clean and usable. I happy so far. Plus the kit is not so bad. Good Deal
