Supporting up to 96kHz/24bit, the MM-2D-X uses XLR connectors for analog mic/line input/output. It can convert 2-channel mic/line input signals into 2 Dante output signals, or vice versa. Additionally, it supports 4-channel Dante input/output, enabling the use of audio sources within an established Dante network.

The Dante Compact Processor Series is ideal for adding mic/line or AES/EBU input/output to various situations and places such as public facilities, broadcasting stations, and recording studios where Dante systems are in use. It comes equipped with a matrix mixer that includes a DSP feature with compressors, parametric EQs, limiter, delay, and more.

The MM-2D-X is compatible with Dante Domain Manager and AES67 mode, allowing easy access to Dante systems using established network infrastructures. It also supports phantom power (+48V) and remote gain control via TASCAM DCP CONNECT software, Dante, or other external controllers.

The MM-2D-X is installed with two high-grade TASCAM mic preamps, offering a natural-sounding input range from -74 dBu to +26 dBu. It also includes a built-in 6 in/4 out matrix mixer, 10 band EQ, and a variety of output effects.

With the MM-2D-X, you can save up to 50 different presets using the scene preset function, allowing seamless switching between different environments. It also supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), eliminating the need for AC adapters and reducing installation costs.

Control the MM-2D-X easily through the dedicated control software, available in two versions: TASCAM DCP CONNECT for system integrators/managers and TASCAM EZ CONNECT for end-users. The unit can be installed directly under desks or on walls with the included surface mount adapters, or in a 19-inch rack space with the optional rack-mountable shelf AK-RS1.
