The MZ-372 Rackmount Mixer is a high-quality audio solution that can handle a diverse range of source content, including music, spoken word via microphone, turntable inputs, and more. All of these can be effortlessly controlled through intuitive sliders and assignment controls. The device's flexible I/O allows for the mixing, muting, and routing of 19 total audio sources to two redundant outputs. These operations are easily managed through familiar volume sliders and assignment buttons. Input signals can be inserted via six audio channels, each consisting of two sets of unbalanced RCA-type stereo pairs and six XLR inputs, totaling twelve sets of RCA-type inputs and six XLR inputs. Adding to its versatility, channels 2/3/4 can accommodate phono-level signals for turntable use. An additional XLR input is conveniently located on the front panel, driving a studio-quality mic preamp and ducking circuit for effortless voiceover and announcement work.The MZ-372 Rackmount Mixer features twin outputs, each boasting a combination of balanced XLR or RCA unbalanced connectors. This ensures easy integration into virtually any audio system, allowing combinations of microphones, CD/DVD/Blu-ray players, instruments, or any other audio source to be selected or muted and sent simultaneously to the dual outputs, each with its own volume control. The device's "talkover" function automatically lowers any mixed channel source so the microphone connected to the front panel can be clearly heard in the chosen zones. The MZ-372 is simple and fast to operate and set up, thanks to familiar volume sliders, switches/buttons, EQ knobs, and mute buttons. For capturing events or music performances, there is a master recording stereo output that can send audio to an external recorder. The Booth outputs provide another stereo feed with independent control for additional monitoring.
