Well built and good sound quality for a budget device. Fits around the ear nicely for me to wear with my glasses. It was made for its intended purpose. Don't complaint if your going to walk around on a portable device with it. But it can be done.

These have a great neutral'ish sound that's a bit on the warm side. Cord length is a bit too long but can be managed. The stock earpads aren't great for long listening sessions but at no point do they become uncomfortable. Just a bit sweaty. They are also very lightweight and small enough to take with me in a small backpack. I am very pleased with these cans and highly recommend them. The price, sound, asthetics, offer a great value. I purchased these when they were ($) with free shipping and would gladly pick up another pair for the regular price. I've swapped out the pads with some Brainwavez HM5 pads and comfort level goes way up. The stock pads are a bit too plasticy and my ears touch the pads causing some discomfort with long sessions.

VERY comfortable, adjustable, well made and an extra long cord. These are a great buy. So happy with my purchase. Thanks Adorama. : ) Dan

I purchased these because they were on sale and I was looking for an inexpensive set to supplement my monitor speakers. For the sale price they are a reasonable value. They are lightweight, almost to the point that one might wonder if there's any metal in there - but they're sturdy enough so far. The cushioning is good - haven't used them for more than an hour and a half yet, but they're not uncomfortable. The sound is, again, reasonable for their price point. One thing I didn't expect to use much, but do, is the bag/pouch that's? included; when I'm done with them, I find myself storing them securely in there. Nice. These headphones will probably not win most awards, but if you're looking for low cost with appropriately, reasonably performing headphones, consider these.

I bought two of these. One sounds great, and the other has very noticeable distortion in the left ear, especially on bass. This showed up just a few days after I started using them. Adorama chat said they'd do a return, but then said I had to have all original packaging, so I was out of luck. Kind of sucks.

These do a GREAT job of blocking out ambient room noise. This is great for Voice over, to insure you a listening mostly what is going to tape, rather than what's in the room + what's recording with more "open air" design. They are also ideal for monitoring video shoots, so you know if a take is good IN THE FIELD. There are a professional build, so they are not tanks but should last. I can't rate them too high. They have a too much bass, which is the trend since Beats entered the market place and redefined crap audio as good. I would NEVER mix audio with these for that reason.

Great quality cans with case. They work better than any noise-canceling headphones I've owned and the cord is long enough that you can use a splitter to listen with a colleague and not feel uncomfortably close. Also great for in-field recording so you can grab something from your gear bag while continuing to listen in.

Did not work, sound would only come out if I bent the cable over...out of box failure

For this price, it's a good product. Tascam is a name that associated with high end professional audio products. This headset, when picked up and worn, it does not feel like something made out of cheap materials. The audio cable is very long, the bigger screw-on adapter can be handy. And the pouch is very soft and made out of quality material. Regular price, at the time of writing this review, is $30. When I bought, it was half that price. Even purchased with the full price, I dont think I would have anything negative things to say. This is a good headphone to have for casual listening as well as video editing. 4 star? I think the regular price should come down. Otherwise, it's a 5-star product.

I wanted to buy a pair of spare headphones to keep in my Back-Up DJ Bag. These are absolutely terrible. Low volume. Sound rattles. I wouldn't buy these if they were $1. I'm donating to good-will tomorrow.

Good price and meets my needs. Not much of a sound professional but needed something for an audio interface device I bought. It works great.

For the price these are excellent. They fit well and the overall sound is excellent. I compared them to my Sennheiser HD 280 pro headphones. The bass response is a little overdone, which can be toned down if you have some EQ available, or can be tolerated for many uses, e.g. TV.
