Nice looks, decent sound
I was searching a web site for hard drive sales when I saw a link to Adorama with a special offer for these speakers. I have owned a Tascam portable recorder before and I was happy with the quality of it. Thus I decided to place an order for the speakers hoping to use them with my 3-keyboard setup. The pair came well packed in individual boxes. All cables and instruction manuals were there.
They are heavy, not very big and you have to be TOO close to them to hear the hissing sound. They don't "pop" when you turn them on or off. I hooked them up to my big screen TV. It was obvious right away that the high frequencies were muted. They do have decent bass sound for my taste (I don't like to hear a lot of bass in any sounds). Information found online states that studio monitors are supposed to have a flat response and these one do. They need a graphic equalizer in their input to raise the highs if you so wish. I use them along with my TV's internal speakers and the difference in the room is huge. I am happy with their looks, their size, their weight and their discounted price.

Great Pair of Affordable Monitors
Excellent quality for the price. The missing low end can be supplemented easily with a sub or a pair of headphones if using for mixing. Exquisite detail of sound in the range it does produce. Sturdy construction on the product as well

Love these Speakers for my Keyboard
Was looking for stereo sound for my keyboard at home. Was using a bass amp but didn't sound great. Love these little speakers and sound just as good as the M-Audio BX5 which I've had in the past. Simple to use and built solid. Not a sound expert but the lows and highs sound really clean. Happy I bought these.

Works great with my MBP
Bought these to use with my MBP at home for basic editing and listening to music. They both look and sound great.
