This is a great bag for a day out with a breadth of gear - for me 1 body, 3 lenses (extra wide, 24-70mm, and 100-500), and footer kit. It will be perfect for a trip, too, when I don't want to bring a larger bag with multiple bodies. It was comfortable and very user friendly with easy access to my gear. Think Tank bags are my go to's!

I've looked for a good camera backpack for a while now for my individual needs and this is basically perfect. I'm using it for my Canon R6 mkii and three lenses, including a 15-35 2.8, a 50 1.4 VCM, and a 70-200 2.8. I've got room for a whole other zoom lens in this little beast. It really is amazing what you can fit in this little 14L bag. I'm not one to carry a ton of accessories but it's got room for filters, a mic, or whatever similarly sized. There's a small zippered pocket for SD cards, and smaller items, and the top access (for me) is the cherry on top. Not many bags have the top access which I actually prefer to side access, especially for a full frame camera. Ones I've tried with side access either didn't have big enough pockets to fit the camera through, or the entire bag had to be fatter to accommodate. This method allows the bag to stay very thing and to me, the layout is just perfect. It's long and thin, fits super nice on the back. So far I'm very happy!

I own/use several other Think Tank products. I really like the Darklight 14L because it's a sleek pack. I use it to carry a Nikon Z63 with a 24-200mm attached to the camera. I also have a Nikon 100-400mm in the pack along with extra batteries, cards, etc.. This is a nice "Every Day Carry" Bag.

This is a great backpack, very heavy duty, light and narrow so you can navigate tight spaces on a trail. The Molle attachments make this extremely versatile because it's easy to attach things like storage pouches. The top access makes it easy to get at the camera and even lenses without having to lay the pack down. Now, why it's almost perfect. First, the unpadded waste strap is not effective and uncomfortable. It should be padded like the larger pack so it supports the weight when the pack is full of gear. Second, and most perplexing, is the design of the back pocket. It's tapered so it has more space at the top than the bottom. The result is that it cannot hold thicker items at the bottom like a first aid kit, filter pouch, etc. Why this important pocket doesn't have a consistent thickness from top to bottom is a mystery. I added a Molle pouch which has enough storage, but wouldn't be necessary if the pocket was designed properly. In spite of these two flaws, this is a very good pack. I'm able to carry a Canon R5 body as well as 24-105mm, 14-35mm and 100-500mm lenses inside the pack.

I love this pack as my daytime hiking backpack! I really like the top access and the more spacious rear pocket for accessories. I have several Think Tank bags, but this is my new favorite!
