Without tilt, this lens performs like a standard 35mm F1.4 lens. At large apertures, only subjects on the focal plane stay sharp, while the rest melt into creamy bokeh.

With the tilt function of a tilt lens, even at the same aperture, you can achieve sharp focus on diagonally positioned or receding subjects, delivering greater control over the plane of focus.

Control the Focus

With a tilt lens, you can keep one eye in sharp focus while letting the other blur, creating a unique and artistic portrait style. With a conventional lens, the eyes and body appear sharp because they lie on the same focus plane. A tilt lens lets you keep only what you want in focus without changing the aperture, adding a more artistic look to the image.

A tilt lens can be simply understood: A conventional lens with a large imaging circle combined with a tilt mechanism.

When the tilt angle is set to 0 degrees, it functions as a standard 35mm f1.4 lens, suitable for portraits, humanistic photography and other subjects. Since only the central part of the large image circle is used in the normal state, optical performance is more reliable.

Allows the front lens group to tilt up to 8 Degree left or right, enabling control over the direction of the focus plane for more flexible composition.

360 Degree Rotating Mechanism

Works together with the tilt mechanism, allowing the focus to move 360 degrees. The rotating mechanism is marked in 15-degree increments with limit stops, ensuring precise angle control.
