Think Tank Airport Acceleration 2.0 Backpack

the backpack is great to hold a lot of equipment however it is almost the same size as the airport international 2.0. with that said, some airlines will consider it your only allowed carry on and will not let you also take a roll away if you have one. however, if you had the airport international 2.0, you may be able to get away with another small carry on. for those who what to be hands free for other gear (tripod, reflectors, etc) this is a good choice. also, a little overpriced considering high end backpacks with frames and supports are similar in price.

The good (and bad) news is, it holds a ton. I have D700, D300, 300/f2.8, 70-200, 24-70, 16-35, 105 micro, TC1.4, TC2.0 and an SB600 flash plus misc like charger, rocket blower, filters, etc. It holds it all, plus my laptop, but it is HEAVY. It's as comfortable as can be expected when filled this way. Extremely versatile in set-up and more dividers than you can use. Have not used on an airline yet. Also have Street Walker Pro. Both excellent.

This is my second Think Tank product. I have a similar sized carry on roller bag that I use for US travel. I wanted something to wear on my back when traveling and this was perfect. I could still load 2 bodies, 6 lenses and accessories with no trouble. This enabled me to have one hand for my luggage with one had free to negotiate trains, planes and cabs. I also had no trouble fitting it in the carry on space in airplanes. I would not use this for backpacking or carrying on photoshoots as it is not as comfortable as a backpack

Great product. Has lots of padding, safely protected my gear, is light and met regulations for airline carry on. Took it to Alaska July 5th to 12th of 2009 and packed a Canon EOS 1Ds MK111, Canon EOS 20D, Canon EF 135 f/2.8, Canon EF 300 f/2.8, Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8, Canon EF 100-400 f4.5-5.6, Canon Speedliet 580 EX and Canon G10. It all fit in the bag and was confortable to carry even at 27.8 lbs. I am considering getting the Think Tank Addicted 2.0 to carry the Canon 500 f/4 lens.

This bag is of quality construction and built to last. Room for 2 dslr bodies w/grips, tons of lenses and other gear. Removable laptop case works out real well. Perfect size for carry-on. The backpack shoulder harness can be tucked away so as not to be in the way when carrying as a bag which is a great idea! Very well thought out design. Would purchase again. Great job Think Tank!

Used on multi-legged flight with planes of various sizes. The TT fit in overhead rack on all flights even though the flights were full and the overhead space was limited. The exception was a small puddle hopper plane that had very limited overhead space. In spite of the flight attendant's doubt TT fit under the seat with a laptop included. The only knock I have is I wish it were a few pounds lighter. One a trip such as this every little bit of addtional weight gets multiplied by the number of plane changes. TT is built like a tank and I was comfortable that my gear was well protected. The construction of the bag is excellent and I look forward to many years of use.

You can probably find more comfortable backpacks, not a lot more but somewhat, but nothing that carries what this carries, has this build quality, and fits on any airline as a carryon. It will hold a D300 with 200-400VR attached, another D700 body, several more lenses, an SB800 and accessories. ThinkTank builds top notch quality items. This is my fourth ThinkTank product and I'm very pleased with every one.
