I recently used this to photograph a Full Moon. I have a Nikon D5 and I used the Case Air Wireless device so I can use my Apple iPad Pro to provide a larger live view monitor to help me focus and see if I have a sharp picture. My shot turned out great. I also use this Case Air Wireless to quickly review my shots in my D5. The thumbnail view does not appear so sharp but once I download in into my device, I can get a clear and sharp picture. I have downloaded some pictures to show how it looks.

Great tool works as describe. Wish there was more videos/tutorials on how to use it and what it could do. If you're photographer on any level you should definitely add this to your tool belt.

Bought 2 of these. Both did not work out of the box. Very disappointed even though I got my money back

I am a novice who recently purchased a Nikon D3500 as my first ‘real’ camera. I have an Ebay store and use it all day long for product shots. I soon discovered that using the Blue Tooth Nikon Snap Bridge is excruciatingly slow when transferring full-size files. I searched high and low for a Live View tethering system which would work with this camera…this was the only option I could find. Set up was relatively simple and the transfer rate is surprisingly fast. Saved me from having to upgrade to the Nikon 5600…at least for a while :)

This product is a game changer and must for any and ALL photographers who are serious about their craft. The on-site image display(via a tablet) & instant photo reviews are beyond reproach. Also, the devices "Hot Spot" has yet to fail me while shooting on location. While others are showing the back of their cameras (to clients, models, etc.), my iPad is in a position to allow the same individuals to review and scroll through the images in real time (as I focus on the subjects). Lastly, it allows you to set the tablet/ reviewing option up so the client can only review the images and not delete anything from the files...Game Changer! Inserted is an image captured of a teen model as her Mom-nager look on via the iPad (mom looking on is not actually in this image, but she is standing "close" by).

I was very disappointed in this item. I was not as easy to set up as describes and it just was more of a gadget than a needed tool.

The best tool for transferring photos from my camera, directly to my phone. Set up is easy, and the product does exactly what they say it will do.

Can't give 5 stars yet as I only used it for a weeks now. I've used it for Realestste photography and long exposure landscape. So far it is as said app freezes a little but it's nothing the Camranger did the same thing when I tried it. The unit is solid looks plastic but it's not it's a metal of some sort not sure maybe carbon fiber but solid. I would RECOMEND this to even the hobiest

Finally, a wifi tethering system that works just like it should. I have the new Nikon D850 and after wasting too much time trying to get Snapbridge working I've given up on it. But this new wireless tethering system gives me all I need and far more than the Snapbridge would, even if it did work. I'm impressed and think you will be too. Go for it. This one Works!

We shoot products in a studio and the wirelss tethering has made a big difference with our productivity. It works great, fast and is worth it if you want your images to send to your computer while you are shooting.

After the learning curve and the "how do I get out of this screen" questions this is a pretty useful device. I have only used it a few times but it has worked very well with only a few glitches. I have used this to focus and operate 3 different Nikons in positions I didn't want to stay in for long, really close to the ground and on an extension pole. The shot I got was exactly what I was looking for so overall it works. Once in a while it will take its own sweet time connecting but it will connect. Seems to run a long time on a charge and it updated without any problems. Still have to do a focus stack in the field, did it on my kitchen table to test it but am looking forward to doing actual focus stacking in the field. Wish the manual was a little closer to what my screens actually look like but it is close enough to figure the rest out.

(CASE AIR REVIEW) My DSLR is a Nikon D3100, which is a model that LIVE VIEW is not compatible*. They have a list of compatible cameras on their site for Live View and other features the Case Air offers. I did not use this compatibility issue between the Case Air and my camera for my rating& reviews since it is an older camera. With that said, I had an issue connecting the wifi between my iPhone 7 running iOS 10.2 and the Case Air including updating its firmware via Case Remote app. I ended up connecting it to my MacBook Pro running macOS Sierra and was able to SUCCESSFULLY update the firmware through the app. From there, I was able to successfully connect to my iPhone seamlessly. I can now photograph from my phone, view and delete images from my SD card in my D3100 using the app. It does not have a timer settings or a way to adjust the exposure mode like bulb, manual or aperture priority. At least not for the D3100. I have not fully explored all its features yet but I am excited to RECOMMEND the Case Air. *Note: Their customer service is responsive via email for when I asked about camera compatibility.

I've been looking for a solution to instantly transfer my images to my iPad so I can see them bigger and show them to clients during a shoot. This was easy to set up and the battery lasted longer than my camera battery. I was surprised the images showed up as fast as they did on my tablet. I like that I can choose to save them all to my ipad or just choose to save the ones I want, so it doesn't fill up the photo roll. The camera control features were pretty cool also - you can change your cameras creative functions right from the tablet.\ I'm looking forward to testing this out for a Timelapse I've been wanting to shoot.
