Works as advertised

Used in weddings for extended video shoots/gimbal work. Having it while my camera is attached to my Crane2 or Weebill S is great because I don't need to take my camera off to replace the battery, then re-balance my gimbal. With my 10,000 mAh battery pack, the thing lasts for a solid 6-8 hours of constant video recording.

Plug in Power

The thether works great plugs right in to my Pegisus power box 8v power supply for long night of imaging on my Canon T6s connected to my telescope. The camera does tell me it is not a good idea because it does not have the Canon logo but it forks fine.

Great power source and nattery alternative

You can't beat never having to worry about changing batteries or running out of them mid-shoot. Plugging into house current when near an outlet, or using a power brick when no outlet is available makes this relay coupler invaluable. I love it.

Great for Panasonic Lumix GX85

I use this with a Panasonic Lumix GX85. The downside is that the GX85 battery cover must stay open to use this, but you can close it a bit just not all the way. I still was able to sit the camera on my tripod with this in and the cover open as needed. It works fine, coupled with the Tether Tools Case Relay Camera Power System SKU: TTCRUPS110 MFR: CRUPS110 to provide pretty much unlimited power from a external battery pack that has a USB out. I recorded a 2 hour video using this system without powering down.

This innovative device works seamlessly with the Case Relay Camera Power System, transforming your camera battery cavity into a power conduit that connects to an external 5V USB battery pack or wall power. Please note that the coupler itself does not contain a battery or hold a charge.

The Relay Camera Coupler, when paired with the Case Relay Camera Power System, provides an uninterrupted, constant power source for your camera. This makes it an ideal solution for time-lapse photography, photo booths, video production, and power-demanding LiveView shooting. It's also perfect for those long days on set when you need your camera to stay powered.

The operation is simple and efficient. Insert the Relay Camera Coupler directly into the camera battery port, connect it to the Case Relay CPS, and power your camera with the included Rock Solid External Battery Pack. Alternatively, you can use an AC power source with a USB to AC wall adapter or the ONsite D-Tap Battery with V-Mount.

One of the standout features of the Case Relay System is its secondary internal 1200 mAh battery. If your external battery runs low, you can easily hot swap the external battery without losing power to your camera.

The Relay Camera Coupler is also compatible with the ONsite Relay C and ONsite Relay A from Tether Tools. These devices can be used in conjunction with an external USB battery pack, D-Tap battery, or wall power to ensure your camera remains powered at all times.
