Constructed from precision milled T5 aerospace aluminum alloy, the TetherBLOCK is both lightweight and incredibly durable. It features multiple routing channels, accommodating thick, medium, or thin cables. Rubber non-slip pads ensure the TetherBLOCK stays firmly attached to your camera, while additional 1/4-20" female threads allow for mounting non Arca-compatible tripod plates.
The TetherBLOCK is designed to secure a USB, FireWire, or HDMI cable through one of its three channels. A 1/4"-20 slotted screw attaches the plate to the camera, which can be tightened with a screwdriver or coin. You can then shoot handheld or attach the TetherBLOCK to your camera's tripod mount, allowing you to shoot tethered to a computer without fear of your cable becoming unplugged.
The TetherBLOCK also comes with a TetherPro 15' USB-C to Mini-USB 2.0 Type-B 8-Pin Cable, available in high-visibility orange.
