This bag is like a multi-tool. It attempts to perform many functions, yet does not excel at any of them. As a camera bag, it has limited use for it's bulk. The laptop sleeve, water bottle pockets, mini pockets, and other compartments add to the oversize feel of the bag. Maybe some will find all these features useful. I was looking for a minimalist bag that would hold a full frame body with a 24-70mm lens, a 70-200mm lens, a couple of smaller prime lenses, and a 15" laptop. This will easily hold all that, but the removable camera pouch and the extra sleeves and pockets added too much bulk for my needs.

I wanted an easy-access bag for my large mirrorless system including an external flash and an extra lens or two, plus filters, batteries, etc. This fills the bill perfectly. It reminds me of the original Domke bag - small and soft, easy to carry. It does suffer from the same problem, however, of allowing foreign objects to get under the flap at the ends. This is fine for urban work, but problematic for dirty or sandy environments. Just a work of caution - I would still buy the bag again for the purpose I intended to use it. What I like best is the wide opening compared to bags that have zippers down the center, making it difficult to get a lens/body combination in and out without using two hands.

I am a wedding, event, and senior portrait photographer, and this is my third lens-access solution. I was disappointed with the LowePro lens exchange because I found it difficult to switch between my 70-200 and 24-70, even without the lens hoods. I then bought the Shootsac lens bag, which worked OK, but the neoprene made it somewhat challenging to get lenses out quickly. Moreover, after a recent trip, I decided that, above all, I wanted a bag from which I could grab lenses quickly, and which also could carry my camera (which disqualifies the Shootsac). This bag fits the bill. A nice bonus is that it holds my 15" laptop and 600ex-rt as well, in addition to CF cards and other little things. It definitely carries everything I'd want to carry in one, easy-to-access shoulder bag. It has plenty of pockets, nooks, and crannies for everything I would need. I now have a shoulder bag for quick lens changes, and something for all my most pertinent gear when travelling. One final note: It is bigger than I'd prefer, but I don't think it could be any smaller or less bulky and still handle everything I want to hold - essentially, camera with lens, plus two extra lenses. I think this is pretty close, if not exactly, as good as it gets for me.

The Think Tank CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag (Black) is a soft, padded multi-functional bag that holds your DSLR with 24-70mm f/2.8 attached, extra lens, flash plus a dedicated iPad/tablet compartment. The bag contains a removable padded insert that, when removed, transforms the bag into one large storage space-messenger style. This double-edged approach to a camera bag gives you the freedom to carry camera gear and when the insert is removed, there is room for other items such as books or personals.
The bag is accessed by a double security front snap buckle or touch fasteners that feature Think Tank's Sound Silencers to minimize the noise that traditional touch fasteners generate when opened. This will come in handy when you are shooting in quiet venues such as a chess match or courtroom. The front zippered organizer pocket holds everything from cleaning cloth to pens, note pad, lens cap and other small items. The front pocket is expandable via an easy to use touch fastener.
The overall material is water-resistant and soft providing a body conforming design that makes navigating through crowds and subways much easier. A combination of nylon, polyester, polyurethane and YKK zippers provide strength to the bag. Movable closed-cell interior dividers allow you to configure the bag to suit your gear needs.
The CityWalker is carried by its cushioned, adjustable, non-slip shoulder strap or convenient top grab handle. The bag comes with a seam sealed rain cover that will protect the entire bag when the weather turns against you. Topping off this bag is a business card slot located under the front flap. This will make networking easier when you need to hand your card to someone while on the go.
