I use this adapter with my recorders that have HDMI input. It secure the cable and takes the pressure off the cable and connections.
The Tether Tools Jerkstopper Thread Mount is designed to be used with a DSLR camera to provide an anchor point and allow cable slack, preventing it from being pulled out while you're shooting. The 1/4"-20 male thread attaches to any compatible 1/4"-20 device or support (sold separately). The aluminum lock nut allows it to be rotated or secured in any direction. The Jerkstopper can be used with any cable with a diameter between 3.5mm and 8.5mm.
