I bought this for the Nikon 180-600 f/5.6. It's a tight fit lengthwise but otherwise typical Thinktank quality.

The Nikkor 200-500 fit into the 150 V3.0 like a bug in a rug. Easy in and out with great protection. I am looking forward to other Think Tank Gear

For those wanting to know...a Sony 200-600mm will fit in this bag. I did give the back 5-stars but I have one suggestion and I hope ThinkTank accepts it constructively - the shoulder strap is only 3/4" wide and with a lens of the weight these are designed to carry the strap digs into your shoulder uncomfortably. In future revisions I hope you will consider adding a 6" handle to the side of this bag. Otherwise, the bag is built well and does a great job protecting my lens.

I got this for my AF-S Nikkor 200-500 F/5.6E ED lens and it fits perfectly and is reasonably padded. The case has a lengthways zipper that allows easy access. I carry it using either the shoulder strap or a Think Tank Pro Speed Belt - given my small frame and the weight of this lens I use a Pixel Racing Harness V3.0 to offload the weight on the belt from my hips. I’m very happy with this purchase, as I am with my other Think Tank products and would recommend this for anyone looking for a case for this lens.

Perfect fit for the Nikon 200-500 f/5.6! Superb replacement for the skimpy fabric pouch that ships with the lens. Can snug in among various bags and cases the back of my Toyota and no worry about sufficient padding.

It is a perfect fit for my Nikon 200-500. I added a padded shoulder strap so that I can tote it around in the field. It's exactly what I needed.

This case is quality made and fits the lens perfectly. I love the fact that one can open it with the zipper down the side. When not in a pack, the carrying strap in indispensable.

I wanted something to put my Nikon 200-500 f/5.6 into when I am not using it. The Lens Changer 150 v3.0 works absolutely perfectly. Secure, but not too snug. Easy to get the lens in and out. A flat side so it sits nicely on my shelf. When I am out and about using the lens I have the Hard Drive 2.0 pack, it fits the lens with hood on and body attached, the perfect pack for that lens. Thanks ThinkTank.

It is a great lens case. I like the way the case opens down the side making it easier to get the long lens out of the case.

This is the best fitting and most convenient bag for the 150-600 from either Sigma or Tamron. They way it zips open to access the lens, and the fact that you can put it on a belt, is so good, that I also used it with my 70-200 and also the 100-400. Of course it is a bit big for those lenses, however the convenience is really good. All ThinkTank lens pouches should be made this way!

I am using with a Canon 200mm f/2 L IS. In this way I can carry the lens attached to a Canon 6D II body. Highly recommended!

I really like this Lens Changer. I've put it on the belt and it didn't feel unwieldy. I felt safe moving the lens in and out of the pouch.

I’ve used a couple other cases for my Nikon 200-500. One was heavily padded and very bulky, others were poorly made or ill fitting. The Think Tank case fits the lens perfectly, the opening system works great with easy access (I use a strap, but works on my Think Tank belt as well). The size, protection, and quality is beyond everything else available. The only change I made was to install a thicker strap. I’ve been waiting for a case like this, finally Think Tank has delivered. 5 Stars!

Just about custom made for a Nikon 200-500mm 5.6. with lens hood reversed. Side pockets easily hold the lens cover. The open pouch won't let the lens fall out if you're not moving. Rain jacket gives a bit more padding at the bottom of the pouch. Probably would hold a liter of water when the lens is on your camera.
