Think Tank Lens Changer 15 V3.0 Pouch, 6.x3.3"

I have two Olympus Zuiko Pro M4/3 lenses, the 12-100 f4 IS Pro and the 8-25mm f4 Pro which I use for mountain adventure photography. I have struggled to find a modular system to work with my existing mountaineering rucksacks where I can swap one lens for the other safely and without fuss - until I ordered the Lens Changer 15 v3.0 and at last I have a decent solution. I am really pleased with it; it fits either lens (the other lens is on my Olympus M5 which is slung around my neck) snugly enough to keep the external size at a minimum, yet easy to extract the lens and swap it with the other quickly, smoothly and safely. This is a key attribute for me when I am shooting while climbing. The production quality is excellent, as usual, and the drawcord closure plus the pull-out rain cover are important features (for me) and they work really well. This is going to be a very well-used piece of my kit, and it will undoubtedly be subjected to really bad weather and some inevitable knocks and scrapes! But I think it should hold out well enough...

I purchased the 15 V3.0 as a pouch to fit a belt for carrying my Fuji X100V. It’s perfect for this, with the spare battery in the front pocket. It’s the most mobile combination available! I’m looking at getting the 25 or 50 for when I use a tele converter lens with the Fuji! Excellent product

Amazing, convenient lens bag. Excellent quality, as you'd expect from Think Tank. It's very comfortable to wear on my belt and I hardly notice it's there unless there is a super heavy lens in there.

Not mentioned in the write-up or illustrated in the photos on the TTP website is a circular flap just below the drawstring collar, which seems intended to form a sort of lid over the lens. If you want to use the flap in this way then the internal height dimension is only 110 to 120mm. The quoted "internal" height of 152mm must assume you are happy to leave the rear cap of the lens sticking well out of the drawstring collar (even more than the Canon rear cap in one of the illustrations on the "features" tab of the product page), which seems to me like a really silly idea, a great way of losing the rear cap and scratching the rear element. Even when using the flap, the seal with the drawstring collar isn't great (and poor if the lens is short enough not to push the flap up against the collar) so best to avoid going anywhere dusty. Not impressed, or did I just miss the point of this type of bag ?
