I was excited about purchasing this. As my typical shoot will take 3-4 different bags to take on location, between lights, stands, grip, and cameras. With this now I have two. My lights, 4 stands, modifiers and grip equipment fit in here and I use my Airport Security for camera and lenses and such. So much easier and was surprised actually how much it helped the speed of setting up and tearing down. One downside, it definitely can get heavy in a hurry, so be aware of that. But all the pros definitely out way that one con. It's nice at home also keeping everything organized in one spot as well.

Production Manager 50 meets the high standards I expect from Think Tank. I didn't check, but I made the assumption comes with a rain cover. It does not. My only critique is not so much about the bag but how I use it (and how you may be planning to use it). It is big. I wanted a bag that would fit my longer stands and a basic 3 light kit with modifiers. The bag does this extremely well. However, even packed with a two light kit with stands and modifiers this bag becomes very heavy and it is of course large and becomes difficult to handle despite the more than sufficient handles all around. Rolling is great but in and out of a vehicle and up and down even a few stairs can be a challenge. Think twice before loading it up if you are a one person show. Also, measure the back seat of your car. It fits into mine but only just. I like having a single bag for lighting; I wonder if I should have gone with the smaller size and carried my stands separately. Bird in the hand!

Just got this bag recently. Although very expensive, it's definitely worth it. I put a A LOT in here and it gets super heavy which is a pain. Need to start working out again and getting my back strong. I was tempted to get one of the cheaper bags but those lack quality. It's only a matter of time before those cheaper bags will break. As my friend always say, buy nice or buy twice.

This is an excellent bag, very nice and strong built, spacious, makes studio in a bag life easier. I carry 4 lights, 2 light mods with barn doors, 2 heavy duty boom light stands, one backdrop stand with clamps and hooks for multiple backdrops, 2 small light stands, power cords and few other accessories. My studio is always on location and this bag makes my life easier. I'm thinking to add the 40 for beauty dishes, light modifiers and other things, even camera gear.

I already have the Thinktank Rolling Manager 30 for my cameras and lenses, and their laptop bag for my MacBook. I needed this Think Tank Production Manager 50 V2 Rolling Gear Case for my lighting, stands, and modifiers. So I decided on a brand I could trust. I use this case for years now and it never ever failed me. Traveled with it to at least 10 countries, shot hundreds of assignments using it and it's still almost like new. An excellent, huge case!

Things I wouldn't even thought of to ask for are included. A tripod holster outside the bag - of course, makes perfect sense when moving quickly during a portrait session. Card holder, security lock, heavy duty wheels, it's all there. My previous case (a brand B&H carries) was a bit flimsy and I always felt like a handle would just pull off - not with this case. About the only gripe is my C-Stands do not fit - it's pictured with a c-stand but you would have to disassemble the base. My larger tri-folding stands which are sufficiently heavy duty and tall do fit. It's a keeper for sure.

This bag is amazing if you have a lot of gear and want it all in one bag. We had 2 soft box bags (magbox + AD200s), 2 light stand bags (2 stand each), and a camera bag. It was a pain carrying that all around and now it?s so much easier.

I wasn't fully sure what to expect with the Production Manager 50, but I've been very impressed with it so far. I've had if for about a month now and have used it at least a dozen times on shoots and it's been great! I will say, that once you pack it full to the brim full of stands and lights, it gets very heavy! I have one c stand, 4-5 light stands, 3 Godox video lights, some audio gear, gels/diffusers, and other odds and ends and it typically weighs 80-100 lbs. So keep in mind this bag will get hard to manage, weight wise, if you pack it full. :D I really love there are so many pockets and dividers to easily pack needed items and keep everything safe. As usual, Think Tank has exceeded my expectations and I'm very glad I spent a few hundred extra bucks to get something so high quality and durable.
