I Matthews, manfrotto's, but something about tethering tools caught my eye as for a year if I've been watching other colleagues of Mines using it but a little later work. And you can't go wrong for the price and they must to get their magic lamp this is my opinion for 30 years in the business. It's not heavy duty now don't get it wrong I mean 13 pounds is a lot but now we're shooting with portable lights with your lighter modifiers they're getting lighter so this works for me and the price can I go wrong.

You don't have to spend a lot to get good results.

This is the mother workhorse of articulating arms.  It is worth every penny knowing that my expensive camera is firmly attached to my pole mount clamp without slip or needing adjustments.  Love it.  Tether Tools only builds rock solid components.

Best Articulating Arm on the market!

I haven't tried any other brands or models of these clamps but this one is great, it saves floor space by not needing a tripod, and I have yet to find a place where I couldn't get a grip onto something and get a good angle. I have a few straight microphone stands and clamp this onto the base to use it as a tripod also when I need to.
