Great tool. Set it and forget it for the most part. 

For the novice to time code, it would be a good idea to practice and learn the workflow of timecode. This tool is a must if shooting multiple cameras shoots completely solo. 

Looking to get another one and do away with Bluetooth 2.4GHz  solutions I have altogether.

Worth its weight in gold! Never have to worry about gain settings again. I swapped out the included mic for a rode lav mic but absolutely loving this so far !

great audio recorder!

if you're a solo operator on a lot of shoots, buy this even if you dont do timecode. incredibly easy to monitor, incredible sound right out of the box, and 32 bit float has already saved two shoots for me with unexpected sound interruptions. some of the best money ive ever spent in terms of gear. if you do timecode why are you even reading this, this is a no brainer

Great little standalone unit in every way. Small footprint, good Verstl audio, and allows a single shooter to get great audio without having to worry about it. Highly recommend!

Great little unit in every way.

Nice compact little recorder.  The 32 bit float means you don't have to worry about the levels too much and you can just record.  The app is convenient, but not required for simple audio recording

Wow! I love this little recorder. Supplies 5V of plug-in power so higher end lav mics work well with it. It?s small and delivers really clean audio. Plus, you can now monitor your audio remotely (via phone) with the latest firmware update. Tentacle?s app works great. I bought two and intend to buy a third one. I highly recommend it.

Great recorder... love how i sound.  There is only one con that bothers me...it feels cheap in hand. 350$ recorder and i am worried that if i dop it, it will fall apart. Lav also sounds great but i have simmilar feeling towards it too.

Great audio solution

It picks up everything as an omnidirectional mic does. The mic sounds great for basically being free since just the lav mics can run over $500 normally. Syncing with time code in post couldn?t possibly be easier. It?s really intuitive and easy to use in the field. A real fire and forget recorder. I got two of them and can?t wait to use them more.

I am a pro sound mixer and this is gonna replace my job. Lol just kidding? Maybe.

Bought this mainly for the float-32 bit audio. First time working with this format. I was super impressed about being able to speak super loudly and then bring back those levels in post. I love that I can just turn it on and hit record and not have to worry about anything else. Also the sound quality so far is fantastic. Adding some EQ and dynamics in post makes this thing sound very equivalent to my Rode VideoMic Pro+ which I have loved on voices. And on top of all of this you have timecode integration! This isn't something I have incorporated into my workflow much in the past, but will certainly consider it now that I have this. Definitely recommended if you're looking for simple setup, limitless possibilities, and timecode integration.
