Great every-day bag

I use it while traveling for my basic gear. Fits my 70-200mm f2.8L hood reversed, 24-70mm f2.8L attached to canon 6d with hood in shooting position, 100mm f2.8L MACRO, 50mm f1.2L, black rapid sport strap, batteries, memory cards, battery charger. Very comfortable should strap. Solid nylon material. Should last a long time! Looks very professional and not like a camera bag.

The closest thing to the perfect bag

I ran into Adorama the day before leaving for iceland knowing that I needed something better than my old work horse rolling bag. I needed light, I needed volume and I needed comfort when carrying. This bag worked on all fronts. I really thought I needed the smaller Urban Disguise but I wanted it to fit a 15" laptop. I carried this bag with its optional backpack strap miles over not so easy terrain in Iceland and hardly noticed the bag on my back. On my tripod was a Canon 5D Mark III and lens. In the bag were a 100-400 all my Lee filter bits (in the computer slot). Extra batteries and card and a 17mm tilt shift. I am now working on a commercial interior job and have the above and two other lenses. It is small, easy to just grab and go on. I plan on bringing it on a trip to Turkey this spring as my carry on bag with the computer as my main camera bag and leave my big bertha at home. The closest thing to a perfect bag, I think.

Great day bag

I use this as a day bag for hikes and travel. It holds my 6D with 25-70mm f2.8L II attached and hood in shooting position, detached 70-200mm f2.8L with hood reversed, 100mm macro f2.8L, and 50mm f1.2L, and blackrapid camera strap in the main compartment. With all this loaded, the bag looks like a breifcase-sized bag. It is not to "thick" like other bags that make it look big and cumbersome. One of the more slimmer bags. I like how you can add modular component bags to the sides and bottom so hold flash, more lenses, compact trpod, or larger water bottle. Expensive but quality of materials is second to none. Should last for a very very long time.

Don't Scream: CAMERA BAG!!!

The TT Urban Disguise doesn't announce to everyone within eyesight that you are carrying expensive camera gear. At the same time, it carries securely your expensive camera gear in a confortable, easy access package with plenty of nooks and crannies for everything. It can fit a DSLR with grip, 70-200mm, 50mm, 35mm and 10-20mm with plenty of room left over for a sandwich. Great bag!!!!

Exactly what I was looking for

My main criteria when shopping for this were: 1. Holds D800E, three lenses, flash, batteries, cards, charger, etc. 2. Has room for additional travel items like iPad, mini-laptop, magazine, book, etc. 3. Does not look like a camera bag (so does not shout "steal me") 4. Has a fabric panel that slips over the handle of my rolling suitcase for lugging around airports (a very hard-to-find feature in a camera bag) For my purposes, this is the perfect bag. Only downside is the rather high price.

It seems too small, but holds a lot

At first this V40 seemed too small, but the V50 was too heavy when full, and with careful planning the V40 held a new DSLR+big zoom lens and 3 other lenses, flash, chargers, extra batteries, can take a iPad if I had one, I love the design - looks like an innocuous briefcase, the camera can be pulled out easily after opening the top zipper, dont have to set the bag down and open the top flap. It can stay on your shoulder.

Good, compact bag

Too heavy for shoulder when packed. Optional backpack harness is great. I wish it were 2" deeper to hold camera with attached 70-200 2.8. I like it better than the three others I currently have.

A good 1 body + 3 lenses bag

If you like to carry one DSLR and a few lenses wherever you go, look no further. I find the UD 40 V2 to be a VERY COMFORTABLE bag for a 1 DSLR and 3 lens setup. It is small, non-obtrusive, does not look like a camera bag, and it is made from tough material. The V2 really made it possible with the expansion zipper! To put things into perspective, I put these items in my bag: * Canon 40D with grip & either one of these lenses attached (the other two is also in the bag): * 70-200mm F/4L IS * Tamron 17-50mm * Sigma 10-20mm * 430EX flash * Extra batteries, memory cards, pens, filters, etc. Yes, this bag fits a gripped body with a 70-200mm F/4 attached! (no, F/2.8 attached to a body won't fit sorry). 1 camera and 3 lenses are more than enough when you're just casually going out or want to travel light. I find that this is the maximum I'd go for a shoulder bag; any more would put too much stress on one shoulder. You should look into a backpack if you want more gear. So why 4 stars? Well, my gear is growing and I start to use this more at photoshoots and other, more serious, events. I plan to add another body and lens, so I'm looking at the UD 70 for a 2 camera body bag. Otherwise, I would definitely stick to this one.

Effective

I have been using an Urban Disguise 30 for some time and recently purchased this for the extra capacity and the ability to attach additional accessories when needed - especially the flash holder. The whole system works very well and gives good protection, easy access, a surprising amount of space and some "stealth" security: it really doesn't look like a camera bag. I used it on an overnight train trip in a roomette with very tight luggage space and it held a 5DMkII, 24-105L, 100-400L, 50, 85, remotes & cables, spare batteries and a small Giotto's Rocket blower with some room to spare. I attached the flash carrier for my Speedlight and the whole thing took very little space.I don't think my larger backpack would have even fit into the compartment. The UD40 was also very easy to deal with when walking through narrow corridors on a moving train - I'm not leaving my stuff in an unlocked roomette. Overall this is a valuable piece of gear.

This will hold more gear than ever imagined! A wide angle lens with lens hood attached, a 24-70 f2.8 with hood, a 70 -200 f2.8 with hood reversed, AND two pro size DSLRs (without the lenses attached) in the expandable front pockets. A regular size DSLR with a lens attached can also be put straight down inside of the bag. Strobes fit into the stretchable side pockets, as well.
