Favorite low power EP. When I first looked through this my thoughts were?. It just got real. Seriously the views you get with this are the best and for me it's worth the price. I use a 9.25 cat and this hits the spot.

Tele vue gave me an awesome vue with this eyepiece. One of my favorites I use. Great optics . Great fov. Great time looking through this. Some say you can get used to using only Tele vue and that's correct.

I have other 62 degree Televue eyepieces that I like for higher magnifications, but I really like the 24mm Panoptic for wider views. The contrast is very good for a low magnification eyepiece. It makes star hopping and finding open and globular star clusters much easier. After finding a DSO, I switch to higher magnifications. It's my most used eyepiece.

A great low power eyepiece for viewing the larger extended objects out there. Pairs really well with narrowband, OIII, and HBeta filters. Quickly dispatched and delivered by Adorama.

Very Clear. Dark field reproduction with sharp star field edge to edge. A must for wide FOV using a long focal length SCT 2880mm. Love this eyepiece gives me about 1 degree view of the sky at 2880/41x mag= 70x. Amazing

Used with another 19mm TV Panoptic in a TV Binovue on a Q 3.5 to provide stunning, indeed almost overwhelming, Lunar views. Fields are flat and clear. Contrast at the limb is crisp and sudden. Views of craters in optimal libration are crisp and defined at all limbs. Eye relief is outstanding, and the field is flat even though the image is traveling through a lot of glass, including 3.5's Barlow. Adjustment for binocular 3d effect is smooth. Only problem is the viewer's old eyes and floaters that show up, of course, on bright objects.

Just as I've heard, this is the eyepiece which sets the standard in my EP collection. Additionally, if the stars aren't pinpoints, I know my scope needs collimation. It's hard to explain, but the optics give a depth to the FOV, almost like you're viewing from space itself. Used this in a f/4.9 12" dob so far.

The wide field view with this eyepiece are incomparable. I love to use it when I'm not looking for anything in particular, but just want to cruise the Milky Way. Star clouds, bright nebulae, open clusters, all seem to be right in front of me. I actually feel like I'm floating in space with the 41mm Panoptic.

Incredibly crisp views. I like it better than the Nagler! For the widest possible FOV in a 1.25" eyepiece, this is the best!

The lens was purchased for digiscoping with Nikon Coolpix P5100 with Tele Vue Genesis scope. Straight forward to mount camera. Results are very sharp with no edge distortion of any note. Can use camera setting with no zoom and yet fill full frame. It is a heavy lens, but worth the end results.

The Panoptic 24 mm produces very sharp pictures even if used on a fast f/4.5 telescope where only the very outer areas show slightly deformed stars. Using the eyepiece lets you enjoy pictures with rich contrast and a very comfortable field of view overlooking also bigger celestial objects.

I WAS THRILLED WITH THIS EYEPIECE. I PUT IT ON MY NEXSTAR 8 GPS AND WAS REALLY IMPRESSED. SOMETIMES WHEN I USE "GO TO" ON MY SCOPE, THE OBJECT IS OUTSIDE MY FIELD OF VIEW OF MY STANDARD 40 MM EYEPIECE. WITH THIS ONE, EVERY OBJECT WAS IN MY SIGHT. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A HEAVY EYEPIECE, IT DID NOT AFFECT THE BALANCE OF MY SCOPE. I GREAT BARGAIN!!!

This is the 1st eyepiece you should buy if you own a 16" or larger truss tube dobsonian telescope. It is simply the best eyepiece one can buy for such an instrument.
