I have an 8? Dobsonian. I have a hodgepodge of different eyepieces. I bought this so I can use all of my 1.25? eyepieces without having to swap out to my shorter focal tube. Instead of unscrewing one, then screwing in a the shorter tube, this makes it as easy as dropping in any 2 - 1.25 adapter, and this gives me that little bit extra travel needed to bring those eyepieces into focus. This accomplished exactly what I hoped it would. I?m very happy with this purchase.
