DIOPTRX IS WONDERFUL

If you have astigmatism in your eyeglass R/X, the only sensible way to use a telescope without your eyeglasses - even the "long eye relief ones." But make sure the Dioptrx fits your particular eyepiece (about half of the high-end TeleVues - some with special adapters).

DIOPTRX IS WONDERFUL

By TOM D.

If you have astigmatism in your eyeglass R/X, the only sensible way to use a telescope without your eyeglasses - even the "long eye relief ones." But make sure the Dioptrx fits your particular eyepiece (about half of the high-end TeleVues - some with special adapters).

While your telescope's focuser adjusts for near- or far-sightedness, the DIOPTRX Astigmatism Correcting Lens - 1.50 is designed to compensate for astigmatism, enhancing your visual experience. This innovative lens accessory securely attaches to over 20 long eye-relief Tele Vue eyepieces, enabling the sharpest full-field viewing possible.

Available in 1/4 diopter increments, ranging from 1/4 to 3.5 diopters, the DIOPTRX models are rotatable, allowing for fine-tuning to the optimal orientation. The barrel features a series of engraved letters to assist in monitoring the orientation. Simply select the DIOPTRX model that aligns with your eyeglass prescription for astigmatism.

Each lens is crafted from multi-coated glass housed in anodized aluminum with rubber eyeguards, ensuring durability and high-quality performance. Tele Vue, a trusted name in the field of astronomy, has developed this astigmatism corrector to overcome the limitations of eyesight, enhancing the visual experience for astigmatism sufferers.

The DIOPTRX Astigmatism Correcting Lens - 1.50 is designed to maximize visual performance by matching your eyesight to your eyepiece. It fits directly onto all long eye-relief Tele Vue eyepieces, including those recommended for digiscoping due to their long eye relief.
